Alides, the Ghent-based property developer and investor, has purchased Gdańsk’s Waterside office complex from DEKA Immobilien. The building has a marketable surface of 9,320 sqm and is located in the historic Old Town. This is Alides' second acquisition in Gdańsk, following the purchase of the Imperial Shipyard in 2017 together with Revive.  The purchase price has not been disclosed.

Cavatina Holding has started construction on the second stages of Palio Office Park in Gdańsk and Ocean Office Park in Kraków. The total area of both stages comes to 34,200 sqm.

Torus has sold the fourth and final stage of the Alchemia business complex in Gdansk - the Neon office building. The buyer is global real estate investment manager DWS, on behalf of one of its German retail real estate funds. The net value of the transaction is over €80 million.

Finnish developer YIT has been awarded a construction permit for a mixed-use complex next to the European Solidarity Centre in Gdańsk.

GRP Sp. z o.o., the owner of Morski Park Handlowy, has expanded its relationship with Cushman & Wakefield, which will represent the owner in leasing office space in the complex.

Polish developer Capital Park has concluded a preliminary agreement for the purchase of two plots in Gdańsk with a total area of 1.3 ha on the Polski Hak part of Gdańsk’s port area. At the site, Capital Park is planning a residential development with retail and services functions, as well as public recreational space. The seller and the transaction price have not been disclosed.

Zeitgeist Asset Management is expanding its portfolio of flats for rent in Poland. JLL advised the investor on the purchase of the property located at 34 Czyżewskiego Street in Gdańsk-Oliwa. The project is being carried out by a Tri-City developer – the BMC group.

7R has won a tender to purchase 20 ha of land in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre. On the plot, the developer will build the 7R Park Gdańsk Port complex, with a total area of approx. 123,000 sqm. The land property is located in the immediate vicinity of the Port of Gdańsk, and the largest deepwater terminal in the Baltic Sea – DCT Gdańsk.

Student Depot, owned by Kajima Student Housing Limited in partnership with Griffin Real Estate Partners, announced the opening of its first facility in the university city of Gdańsk, Student Depot Kolobrzeska.

One of Panattoni’s existing customers, Globalway – a supplier of (among others) toys, furniture, sports accessories and interior furnishings produced in China – has decided to lease the whole of Panattoni Park Tricity East IV. This has been made possible thanks to the close cooperation of the developer with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), which is supporting the project by providing investment incentives for Globalway. The 52,000 sqm complex is to be built in the eastern part of Gdańsk, where the tenant will be ready to move in Q1 2021. The leasing deal was brokered by Querco Property.
