Prologis announced the completion of a 42,170 square metre build-to-suit (BTS) facility for long-term customer Agata at Prologis Park Piotrków II. 

Swissôtel, part of AccorHotels, has entered into a franchise agreement with Al Shiddi International for the development of a new 218-room urban resort scheduled to open in early 2018. Situated next to Bosnian Parliament, within the mixed-use Sarajevo City Center project, consisting of shopping mall and office tower, Swissôtel Sarajevo will be located in the Bosnian capital’s centre.

Wing is transforming the Material Center building in Budapest, which until now has operated as a shopping mall, into an office building. The building, which has an area of over 20,000 square metres, will be fully converted and renovated to a high standard, to be reborn as the Skylight City office centre. The preparatory works have already begun, and offices are already available for rental in the building.

Plaza Centers N.V. announced that Belgrade Plaza opened to the public on 20 April. The completed centre is 97% let and expected to be fully leased in the coming months. Belgrade Plaza is the 34th shopping centre built by Plaza and its second scheme in Serbia.

Demolition is underway at the corner of Wenceslas Square and Opletalova Street in Central Prague, where a new mixed-used scheme will be developed by UK-owned Flow East. The new building, designed by Chapman Taylor, is to be called Květinový dům (Flower House, also known as VN47) and will comprise 19,500 sqm of office and retail space across nine floors. It will be constructed with the aim of achieving BREEAM ‘Excellent’ status. Flow East is expected to invest app. €37 million (CZK1 billion) into the project. 

Panattoni Europe has completed the construction of a modern logistics centre for Decathlon. The 32,000-square-metre investment is based in Łódź and is the company’s second central warehouse in Poland. 

Apart from Nowa Fabryczna - the first office building in Nowe Centrum Łodzi – Skanska will also develop its newest project, Brama Miasta in the city of Łódź. The two office buildings, with leasable office space totalling 40,000 sqm, will be able to accommodate up to 4,000 employees. Construction is to be launched in H1 2017.

NEPI is planning to invest €40 million on the development of a new shopping centre in the Romanian city of Satu Mare. 

P3 has started the construction of a new warehouse at P3 Bucharest Park. The 13,900 sqm logistics facility will include 400 sqm of offices. P3 is already in advanced discussions with a potential customer interested in leasing the whole building.

Panattoni Europe is to build another distribution centre for Castorama Polska. The project, one of the biggest in Poland, will be delivered in Stryków. Contruction works will commence later this April. The lease was mediated by experts from JLL.
