A new 18,500 sqm production facility for one of the world’s leading automotive interiors supplier, Yanfeng Automotive Interiors (YFAI) was officially inaugurated in a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony at CTPark Kragujevac.

The first international industrial/logistics developer present on the Serbian market is expanding its portfolio rapidly. Vlatko Djuricek, Country Head of Serbia at CTP talked to Property Forum about the company’s future plans.

CTP is building a new turbine factory for BMTS at CTPark Novi Sad which will be handed over in April 2020. A considerable part of the facility will be equipped with all the necessary features for R&D activities.

CTP plans to make a significant contribution to nature conservation, reduce its carbon footprint, and promote the long-term sustainability of the environment. The company has recently become the owner of 100 hectares of forest and plans to restore it. It has decided to further develop its ecological and social activities by purchasing 100 hectares of forest near Mladá Boleslav. The main goal of the company is to revitalize and grow trees.

CTP has significantly expanded its portfolio both across the region and in Hungary in recent years. In response to brisk local demand, the company plans to prepare speculative developments of premium industrial space totalling 150,000 sqm in the Hungarian market in 2020. These projects will affect nearly all the industrial parks of local CTP.

CTP has launched a new product on the Romanian market - Premium Business Units. These multifunctional units combine office, production, storage and showroom space into one. With areas between 1,000 and 3,000 square meters, they address the needs of those companies that want to optimize their flows and grow their businesses. Adapted to meet the needs of each company, these are premium facilities to modern standards and are aimed at entrepreneurs who are currently in outdated or improper buildings and want to optimize and improve their image and results.

Romanian retail chain Profi, controlled by investment fund Mid Europa Partners, will lease 60,000 sqm of logistics space at CTPark Bucharest West from 2020, according to Ziarul Financiar.

The dilapidated area of ​​the former Zetor industrial site in Brno Líšeň will come alive again. CTP has begun preparatory work for the construction of a new industrial park for light manufacturing, retail, research and small logistics. More than 1000 employees will find work here. The investment in the project is expected to amount to around €60 million (CZK 1.5 billion) with the expected date of completion of construction in 2025.

With the recent acquisition of a business park located at Košice airport, CTP has become the market leader as the largest developer and owner of industrial and logistics real estate in Slovakia.

Aldi will lease 10,000 sqm at CTPark Budapest West in Biatorbágy, the developer announced on Linkedin. The new tenant will move in before the end of the year.
