JLL Czech Republic announced the appointment of Alexandra Tomášková as Head of Office Solutions effective 1 May 2021. In her new role at JLL, Alexandra Tomášková will focus on the office sector with direct oversight of the firm's Office Leasing businesses together with Workplace Strategy and Project Management. In her new role, she will also closely cooperate with JLL’s Tétris Design & Build and Capital Markets teams on office-related services.

Hungarian investor Diófa Asset Management has appointed new senior officials, including a new CEO, deputy CEO and chairman, the company announced. Following the recently completed acquisition of Diófa, Indotek Group expects the fund manager to secure a substantial market share in Hungary and increase its presence in the CEE region.

Real estate investor and developer GTC has appointed Ziv Gigi as Managing Director of operations in Romania. He has more than 15 years of experience in Central and Eastern Europe-based real estate markets, developing and operating dozens of projects in the office and retail segments.  

Avison Young announces two new strategic affiliations that expand the firm’s service delivery to clients further across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) with the addition of a newly established venture in the Czech Republic and Slavtchev Consulting in Bulgaria. Both will operate under the Avison Young brand and deliver integrated services to local and multinational clients.

Real estate investment manager Garbe Institutional Capital, headquartered in Hamburg (Germany), is expanding into Central and Eastern Europe. Managing and developing retail, office and residential real estate assets, the company will initially focus on the Polish and Czech markets. With its commitment to the CEE region, Garbe Institutional Capital provides German institutional investors with access to high-quality real estate investments in economically prospering metropolitan areas in the eastern part of the European Union. The new CEE business is based in Prague and headed by Ben Maudling as Managing Director, Head of CEE.

S Immo AG's Supervisory Board has designated the successor of Ernst Vejdovszky, founding father of the company, whose board term will expire on 30 June 2021, and has newly appointed the Management Team. Dr. Bruno Ettenauer will take over as CEO from 15 March 2021 with a term of three years. DI Herwig Teufelsdorfer will be appointed as S Immo AG's CIO (Chief Investment Officer) and will take up his position on the Executive Board at the latest at the beginning of the second quarter of 2021. The contract of Friedrich Wachernig, MBA as COO (Chief Operating Officer) has been prolonged for a further three years until 30 June 2024.

International workspace provider HB Reavis announces that Marcin Klammer will lead its Polish team. Most recently, he worked as Development Director for Unibail Rodamco Westfield. He was also CEO Central and Eastern Europe for BNP Paribas Real Estate and held a number of positions at Arcadis, including CEO and Market Sector Leader.  ó

Romania-based project management company Optim PM has opened a branch in Belgrade to expand its services on the Southeast European real estate market.

Skanska has announced changes in the leadership team of its commercial development business unit in the Czech Republic and Hungary. Alexandra Tomášková stepped down from the role of EVP Operations for Hungary and the Czech Republic and is currently on a 2-month sabbatical. She is considering another role in the organization.

P3 Logistic Parks (P3) announced the appointment of Frank Pörschke as its new CEO, with effect from 1 April 2021. Tim Beaudin, CEO since 2019 and previously Board Chairman, is stepping down as part of a planned leadership transition.
