Spanish developer Hercesa has obtained a loan worth 33 million lei (€6.6 million) from Libra Internet Bank for the construction of a new residential project in western Bucharest. 

Romanian developer Redport Capital will start this fall the construction of the third phase of The Level Apartments complex in northern Bucharest. The company says it has already pre-sold 40% of the apartments in the new phase that will be completed following an €12 million investment. 

Radisson Hotel Group was selected to be the operator of the hotel component in the Central District Lagoon City, developed in Bucharest by Forty Management. The Radisson Lagoon Hotel Bucharest is planned as the first of several such branded co-operations across the globe. 

Romanian property holding Meta Estate Trust has sold its 40% stake in Redport Properties, the developer of The Level Apartments project in Bucharest, for more than €2.7 million. Additionally, the holding has decided to gradually reinvest €2 million by acquiring 10% of Redport Capital for future developments.

Romanian developer Forte Partners has delivered the second phase of its U•Center 2 office project in Bucharest. The building has a leasable area of 35,000 sqm and 28,000 sqm have already been occupied by office and retail tenants.

Pharmaceutical company Biofarm has sold a plot of land close to Victoriei Square in Bucharest for around €5 million. The land spanning 2,176 sqm, which used to host an industrial facility, was taken over by Romanian company Iancu de Hunedoara Residence SRL. The deal was brokered by Crosspoint Real Estate. 

PPF Real Estate’s two office buildings in central Bucharest, Crystal Tower and Metropolis, are now running partially on solar power following the installation of photovoltaic panels on their rooftops. 

Bucharest-based office project Oregon Park, owned by Lion's Head investment fund, has achieved the Well Health & Safety certification, granted by The International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). 

UniCredit Romania has inked a deal with Globalworth for the extension of its lease agreement in the UniCredit HQ building by 2030. The bank has been occupying the building with a leasable area of 17,400 sqm since its opening in 2012. 

Real estate developer AFI Europe has obtained the LEED v4.1 O+M certification for its AFI Cotroceni mall in Bucharest. The company was assisted by Colliers in obtaining the green certification.
