Alto Real Estate has just unveiled an international architectural and urban design competition. This competition is aimed at developing an area in the emerging heart of Bratislava. Both local and international architects now have an opportunity to contribute to the development of a site close to the Sky Park by Zaha Hadid, which has come to symbolize modern Bratislava.

Four more apartment buildings are to be built in the vicinity of Bratislava's Bory Hospital and the Bory Promenade residential phase. Penta Real Estate wants to build more than 300 flats there and therefore intends to submit the relevant documentation to the permit authorities in September, according to the Hospodarske noviny daily quoted by Reality.trend.sk. The developer plans to start construction in 2026.

The zone is gradually growing, with residential buildings, retail objects and necessary amenities being added. After a period of wild growth without an obvious unifying concept, the first signs that Bory will one day resemble a real city are beginning to appear, YIMBA.sk reports.
