Penta Real Estate has submitted environmental impact assessment (EIA) documents for the Bory Mall expansion project in June 2024. The extension is bringing a new square replacing the existing exterior parking lot between the Bory Hospital and the Bory Mall shopping center.

As part of the expansion of the shopping centre, almost 2,400 sqm of new leasable space will be offered, of which approximately 2,000 sqm will be used for shops and services, and the rest for F&B. The increased need for parking spaces will be covered by a new exterior parking lot.

Bory Mall is a shopping and entertainment centre in the west quadrant of Bratislava, which is part of the Bory project developed by Penta Real Estate. Its operation started at the end of 2014. It offers 54,000 sqm of leasable area with 200 shops, restaurants, cafes, and attractions for children. The outdoor and underground car park includes more than 2,400 parking spaces.

Penta Real Estate is currently in the phase of the Bory Mall shopping center divestment, with the aim of closing the transaction at the end of this year. The permitting process is still managed by Penta. The project construction as well as the detailed schedule will be under the management of the new owner.
