ČS Real Estate fund, the largest and oldest Czech open-ended property fund, managed by REICO, has acquired the Park One office building in Bratislava for €35.6 million from private investment firm Falcon II Fund. 

HB Reavis has sold Twin City A, a modern office building located in close proximity to Bratislava city centre in Slovakia, to Prvý realitný fund (PRF), managed by IAD Investments with a transaction yield of 6.5%. The building, located in the Mlynske Nivy business district of Bratislava, was completed in 2015 and offers approximately 16,500 sqm of leasable space, which is fully let to a number of tenants, including PWC, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Bayer, BNP Paribas Slovensko and Sfera.

International real estate developer HB Reavis has appointed Peter Ceresnik as Group Leasing Director. In his new role Peter will lead the company’s five leasing teams, as well as its marketing and IT divisions.

Prologis has announced that it will begin construction of a 21,140 sqm speculative facility at Prologis Park Bratislava to meet high demand from customers throughout the region. The building, DC15, will be situated on a 22.6-hectare plot of land that was acquired by Prologis in the second quarter of 2016. The plot has a build-out potential of an additional 66,000 square metres. DC15, like all newly built Prologis facilities, will be submitted for BREEAM accreditation.  

Award-winning UK architecture practice Make Architects has been appointed to design a state-of-the-art office building in Bratislava’s Central Business District. HB Reavis has been chosen as the development manager of the new mixed-use scheme which will be developed on the site of the current Apollo Business Centre I.

RICS organised its first annual conference in Bratislava, Slovakia on 5 May. The half-day event focused on the role of international standards in emerging markets and on the Slovakian property market itself.

In Q1 2016, new leases and renewal agreements reached 25,777 sqm GLA, the average occupancy rate is over 95% in TriGranit managed assets and the company has 20,000 sqm GLA office development in progress. Due to the strong performance of the BPO sector in the region, the company plans further office developments in the near future in each of its core countries: Poland, Hungary and Slovakia.
