Development company Gridarch has completed Phase II of the Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park (OAMP). This phase includes Hall D, offering 11,300 sqm of industrial space including offices, which was handed over to international manufacturing company Brose.

Compa, one of Romania's largest automotive component manufacturers, announced the second phase of Arsenal Residence, a residential project in central Sibiu next to Sub Arini park. The total investment will exceed €30 million, confirming the company's strategy to diversify its portfolio and actively participate in urban development.

CTP has completed one of the largest production halls at CTPark Blučina in South Moravia. The new 52,000 sqm GLA facility has been designed to offer almost 30,000 sqm of cleanroom space for the production of specialised chips for the automotive industry.

CA Immo completed the sale of the IP West office building in Budapest. The buyer is BYD, a Chinese company that develops and manufactures rechargeable batteries, electric vehicles, rail transit systems, and other new energy technologies, as confirmed by Colliers. The agency represented the buyer in the transaction and provided project management services. The sale was also supported by CBRE and CERHA HEMPEL Rechtsanwälte.

Industrial developer CTP has announced the leasing of 19,000 sqm of warehouse and office space in Serbia-based CTPark Novi Sad East to Shanghai Huizhong Automotive Manufacturing (SHAC), a Chinese supplier of car parts and systems. 

CTP has started construction work on the fifth building within the CTPark Opole industrial and logistics park. The expansion of the complex will accommodate the expansion of the UFI Filters Poland brand, which has so far occupied an area of 6,000 sqm. The Italian manufacturer of filter systems for the automotive industry is doubling its lease space at CTPark Opole and is anticipated to move into the new building in the third quarter of 2024.

Logistics operator Arcese Group has leased 10,500 sqm in CTPark Bucharest West in a bid to meet growing demand from the automotive industry.

The automotive industry had a share of 56% of the total demand for production spaces in industrial projects between 2013 and H1 2023, according to CBRE data.

Shape Corp. started production in a new 36,400 sqm hall in Pilsen. The industrial complex, built by Panattoni, was created on the brownfield site of the coal mines. Shape Corp. moved here from the Borská pole site to expand its production capacity. Up to 700 employees will work in the new facility. 

Panattoni has developed a BTS centre for the Tenneco Group in Gliwice. The European Engineering Centre is to serve the company as a research and development centre for new technologies and Monroe products including conventional drive control systems (Monroe OE Solutions) and advanced suspension systems (Monroe Intelligent Suspension). Around 240 engineers are to work in the new 10,000 sqm centre to support both the leading automotive manufacturers and the other manufacturing centres of the Group.
