On 1 October this year, Avison Young welcomed a team of market experts and launched a new Office Agency service in Poland. Marta Sypiańska, Robert Pastuszka, Maksymilian Sobczak and Przemysław Urbański joined the team.

Due to the growing interest of companies in locating their business in the Central and Eastern European region, Colliers has launched a new business line within its Strategic Advisory department – Business Consulting, which will cover the entire CEE market. Specializing in ESG policy and operational cost optimization, Westbridge Advisory has opened its new headquarters in the capital city of Poland in April 2022. Danuta Grzywacz has been entrusted with the duties of director of the headquarters located at 1 Rondo ONZ. As Country Head for Poland, she will report directly to the Managing Director of Westbridge Advisory International AG, who is Hajo Engelke. From now on. the expertise of Westbridge is available locally to investors and asset managers operating in the Polish real estate market. 

Real estate advisor Avison Young has announced Wesley Thomson has joined the firm as Director of ESG, UK & Europe, to lead ESG strategy in the region.

Leading tax advisor Petr Karpeles, Partner at TPA Czech Republic, sees new market players entering the Czech market, in addition to a strong appetite from existing investors for new products. He shared his observations with Property Forum related to the current investment market sentiment based on consultations with clients.

Avalant has become JLL's exclusive partner for the office and investment property market in Bulgaria. JLL carried out a tender process, in which several local consultancy companies were invited and Avalant emerged as the selected partner. The collaboration will be made directly with colleagues from JLL Romania.

ITRA Global announced it has launched its operations in Poland and opened an office in Warsaw. The new company, International Tenant Representation Polska, will exclusively represent tenants in the office, industrial and retail market. The firm will be led by Artur Sutor.

Newmark Group announced an agreement with Budapest-based VLK Consulting, which will become Newmark VLK Hungary. The announcement follows a recent agreement with a leading Polish commercial real estate firm operating as Newmark Polska.
