Romania’s residential market recorded around 26,000 new home completions during H1 2024, down 20% over the same period of last year, according to Colliers data. 

RRG Real Estate Group (RRG) says it will invest €60 million in a Bucharest residential project that will be delivered at the end of 2026. 

AFI Europe and FINEP have announced the conclusion of a long-term framework agreement on cooperation in the development of rental housing in Prague. The move is based on their previous collaboration in this area. 

A few weeks are left until the opening of the first stage of the new Vydrica district in Bratislava's centre developed by Lucron together with Vydrica. More than two hundred apartments and 19 retail units of 3,148 sqm are expected to receive approval for building use every day.

Romanian developer Alsin Management said it will invest €20 million in the second phase of its residential project First Estates Pipera, with the completion date set for the spring of 2025. 

Real estate brokerage Duna House estimates that 9,754 residential properties changed hands, up 21% year on year, and that HUF 112 billion worth of housing mortgages were taken out in September 2024 in Hungary, more than double (+106%) of the base period's data. The number of transactions in the first nine months of the year shows a nearly 40% yr/yr increase.

Nordika, Corwin’s new residential tower in Ljubljana, has been unveiled to the public. The project, which will comprise around 290 new apartments, will be part of a large-scale revitalization of the area along Masaryk Street in the city centre. 

The Prague City Council has approved the next step in the investment preparation of the mixed-use project at the corner of Durychova and Libušská Streets in Prague 4. The development managed by Pražská Developerská Společnost (PDS) is in the centre of the new city district Nové Dvory and above the new subway station on line D. 

YIT is expanding its Ranta Barrandov residential project in Prague 5 by the third stage by adding another 56 units to the 259 apartments from the previous two stages.

Homing Properties will invest €35 million in the construction of 140 villas in Pipera, near Bucharest.
