Panattoni has purchased a 13-hectare plot on behalf of investor Jet Investment and is launching a new development in the Podkarpacie region. The first phase of Panattoni Park Rzeszów North II will include two buildings totaling over 42,000 sqm, with three tenants already signed. The complex will ultimately exceed 110,000 sqm.
"Rzeszów is attracting international giants and gaining importance as a logistics and manufacturing hub. We are seeing growing interest from companies that value both the availability of workers and its strategic location on two key transport routes – the A4 motorway and the S19 expressway, which is part of the Via Carpathia route," says Michał Samborski, Head of Development at Panattoni.
The first building is a 7,300 sqm BTS project for a courier company that will house a regional parcel sorting center. Construction of a second 35,000 sqm hall will commence simultaneously, with 9,900 sqm occupied by a logistics operator and 4,000 sqm by an automotive e-commerce company.
The investor is Jet Industrial Lease Sicav, a real estate fund managed by Jet Investment that invests in industrial properties across Central Europe. The project is located on the A4 motorway near the S19 interchange, 4 km from Rzeszów Airport and 10 km from the city center.
Panattoni has delivered nearly 350,000 sqm of industrial space in the Podkarpacie region, including projects for Phoenix Contact E-Mobility, DB Schenker, LPP, and BSH Home Appliances Group. The new development will receive BREEAM certification with an rating and include energy-saving solutions and photovoltaic installations.
