Czech investment group Arete has secured €30 million financing from PKO Bank Polski for its Arete Park Rzeszów project, a modern logistics and distribution complex. The Class A logistics park offers nearly 90,000 sqm of gross leasable area.

Industrial developer Panattoni has sold the 33,000 sqm Panattoni Park Rzeszów Airport III logistics park to an international group focused on industrial infrastructure and an investment fund. This marks the developer's second disposal in Rzeszów this quarter.

Panattoni has purchased a 13-hectare plot on behalf of investor Jet Investment and is launching a new development in the Podkarpacie region. The first phase of Panattoni Park Rzeszów North II will include two buildings totaling over 42,000 sqm, with three tenants already signed. The complex will ultimately exceed 110,000 sqm.

BSH Home Appliances Group, home appliances manufacturer, is strengthening its operations in Poland. Panattoni will construct a new, larger factory for the company, which will relocate its small home appliances production from the current location. The new facility will be built in Rudna Wielka near Rzeszów. The total project value will amount to nearly 600 million PLN in the coming years. Construction is planned for completion by mid-2026.

MLP Group announced plans for a new logistics and industrial centre in Rzeszów (eastern Poland). The MLP Rzeszów facility will deliver over 52,000 square meters of modern warehouse and office space. The investment is scheduled to kick off in the second quarter of 2025.

CTP is starting construction of its first manufacturing and logistics complex in the Podkarpackie region. In Rzeszów, it will build a complex of two facilities with a total leasable area of nearly 50,000 sqm. This will be the company's 16th investment in Poland and the first phase of the project is scheduled for completion in Q3 of this year. 

Subcarpathia continues to gain importance and is likely to become a leading east-west transshipment hub supporting the rebuilding of Ukraine. Its potential has also been recognized by industrial developers who are building warehouses and securing land for future projects in the region, say Michał Kozar, Senior Associate, and Janusz Dudek, Senior Advisor, Industrial and Warehouse Department, Newmark Polska.

Warehouse developer LCube has completed the commercialisation of the first stage of Logistic Park Rzeszów, based at Rzeszów Jasionka International Airport. REN Group, Poland’s major food products distributor for the last 25 years, has recently been joined by Cocolita, an online cosmetics and beauty shop. The commercialisation of the facility, whose surface area totals 5.7 thousand square metres, was completed before the official project acceptance of the investment, scheduled for December.

Panattoni has started the development of Panattoni Park Rzeszów Airport II, including an 11,300 sqm BTS project, which is being constructed for US firm BorgWarner. This US-stock exchange listed company produces vehicle powertrains and exhaust system subassemblies. The tenant is to start setting up its assembly lines before the end of the year, with the entire building to be handed over in February 2022.

The list of industrial and logistics developers active in the booming Polish market has now been joined by LCube, headed by Adrian Biesaga and Michał Stachura. The leasing team will be led by Aleksandra Kołbon. LCube's first project will be implemented in Jasionka near Rzeszów.
