Peakside Capital has completed the comprehensive refurbishment of a recently purchased mixed-use property in Brno. The building has been rebranded to Centrum Vídeňská and has been given a new logo. The renovation mainly focused on improving the quality of the common areas.

In the third quarter of 2019, Łódź’s total office stock reached almost 518,000 sqm, surpassing the long-awaited half a million sqm mark, says Cresa Poland in its latest report.

At the beginning of December, Delta Holding will launch the construction of a new office building, Delta House in Belgrade which will house the company's future headquarters, local media reports. The 23,000 sqm building will be constructed in New Belgrade, between the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Geneks Apartments, following an investment of €40 million.

Erste&Steiermärkische Bank is providing financing for the construction of GTC’s Matrix Office Park in Zagreb, a project consisting of two highly-efficient buildings, designed and constructed in line with LEED Platinum certification for green construction. Divjak, Topic & Bahtijarevic’s Banking and Finance team has closed the financing transaction for its long-standing client, GTC.

Building H, the recently handed-over eighth component of the Bonarka for Business (B4B) project of TriGranit in Kraków, reached an occupancy rate of 60%. This Class A building, with an overall rental area of approx. 10,000 sqm, was handed over for use in April this year, simultaneously becoming the new office of, among others, the Aterima company, a long-time B4B tenant. Due to the large demand in Kraków for Class-A offices, TriGranit plans to construct two more buildings in the office complex (I and J), with a rental area of approx. 10,000 sqm each.

JLL has become the exclusive leasing agent for all of Adgar Poland's office space located in Warsaw, namely the Adgar Plaza and Adgar Park West complexes as well as the Adgar Wave and Adgar Bit buildings. In total, experts from JLL will be responsible for the commercialization of vacant space in a portfolio of more than 120 000 sqm of office space.

One United Properties has obtained the building permit for the first phase of One Cotroceni Park, an 80,000 sqm Gross Lettable Area (GLA) business park.

After re-certification, the Metropolitan office building in Warsaw has received the BREEAM Excellent certificate. The property is managed by Colliers International.

Cushman & Wakefield has been managing Astoria Premium Offices in Warsaw since the beginning of September 2019.

Changes in the Polish office sector happen not only from a quantitative aspect but in qualitative terms as well. There is a growing interest in multi-functional projects on the market. The share of flex space, which is an interesting option for large tenants, is also increasing. JLL summarised the situation on the Polish office market at the end of Q3 2019.
