Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed as sole letting agent for Cybernetyki 19A and Cybernetyki 19B, two office buildings of the Dantex Plaza complex.

Balance Hall, a 16,000-sqm office building with a "Very Good" BREEAM certification, has been delivered in early December 2019 on Budapest's Váci Corridor. With this new addition, the Balance Office Park office complex has grown to nearly 35,000 sqm. CPI group reported an over 75% occupancy rate upon delivery, based on already signed contracts.

GTC has just obtained a building permit for a new office project in Katowice. Once finished, the Class A building will offer 18,315 sqm of state-of-the-art office space over 5 floors in the heart of Katowice. The building, inspired by Katowice’s modernist architecture, is designed by JEMS Architects.

In October 2021, global IT leader GlobalLogic will occupy 10,000 sqm under a new lease agreement in Wrocław Business Park – Strzegomska Park. The landlord will pull down part of the existing office complex to make way for a new bespoke building to fulfil the tenant’s requirements - the first such transaction in the history of the Wrocław office market. With this deal, GlobalLogic, as a leader in the IT industry, is, therefore, setting new trends on the local office market. GlobalLogic was advised on the transaction by Cushman & Wakefield.

Construction of the Pillar office building has begun in the Váci Road office corridor area of Budapest. The Class A office building of four blocks is being developed by GTC and will be occupied by ExxonMobil in H1 2022. The office building will contain a two-level underground garage, a café, a restaurant, a nursery, a fitness centre. a conference room and other service facilities. Pillar will have a LEED Gold sustainability certificate. The architectural plans for the asymmetrical and unique building with its wavering forms were designed by the ZDA-Zoboki Design & Architecture.

Ghelamco Poland has chosen JLL as its exclusive leasing agent for its Wołoska 24 office building in Warsaw. Wołoska 24 is a modern, 11-floor office building offering approx. 21,000 sqm of office space, and approx. 1,000 sqm of retail and service space located on the ground floor.

Echo Investment has received a building permit to start the first two office buildings at Fuzja. Thus, the developer has begun the next stage of the revitalization of the postindustrial part of Łódź. The developer, at the site of the former Karol Scheibler factory, will construct two office buildings with completion scheduled for 2020.

CBRE advised flexible space provider Regus in the opening of its 12th centre at Sun Business Center project, located within Sun Plaza shopping centre. The decision of Regus responds to the demand for flexible spaces from companies in the northern half of the city, in order to provide an alternative for the employees living in the southern area, their share being estimated at 50% of the total staff.

TriGranit has laid the foundation stone of the first phase of its new Class-A office development, Silesia for Business in Katowice, Poland. The office building will be the final element of the mixed-use development project of TriGranit, started 15 years ago and realised on a 30 hectares large brownfield area. The post-mining area today includes a shopping mall and residential estates, while the new office building, providing approx. 26,000 sqm GLA and more than 400 parking spaces, is expected to be completed in Q4, 2021.

European office take-up is forecast to reach 9.2 million sqm by the end of 2019, down 4% from 2018’s end-year volume. Prague is expected to exceed that decline, with take-up predicted to fall by 22% to 400,000 sqm as demand for office space in the Czech capital continues the downward trend that began in Q2, according to the latest Savills research.
