Office developers to transform Warsaw's CBD

Warsaw’s central office district went through a transformation process in recent years following the delivery of a number of modern office developments such as Q22 or Warsaw Spire, which have already been acclaimed as unique and landmark schemes. However, in addition to modern buildings and futuristic skyscrapers, this area is also home to second-generation offices developed before 2000 and historical buildings which form an integral part of the capital city’s centre. Futureal appoints JLL and CBRE to lease Budapest ONE

JLL and CBRE have been jointly appointed to lease Budapest ONE Business Park, the new office development project of Futureal Group in Hungary. The two advisors will cooperate on a co-exclusive basis for the leasing of the 68,000 square meter office complex.

HB Reavis reveals plans for first project in Łódź

Łódź will become the second Polish city after Warsaw with projects by HB Reavis. The company has become the new owner of a plot at 2 Targowa Street in Nowe Centrum Łodzi (The New Centre of Łódź). According to the local zoning plan, the area will consist of office buildings with publicly accessible retail and walkable spaces on the ground floors. The listed buildings located on the plot will also be preserved. The price of the plot has not been revealed.

New leases

  • Hungarian startup Colossyan has leased 1,000 sqm at Academia Offices, in Budapest, at the end of May. The office project was opened six months ago and has already reached an occupancy rate of 80%.
  • PGD Sp. z o.o., a distributor of products for bakeries, confectioneries and ice-cream parlours, has leased approx. 2,000 sqm of production and warehouse space in Waimea Airport Logistics Park Szczecin-Goleniów investment. Axi Immo was the agent representing the tenant in negotiating and selecting a new location.
  • Tetra Pak, a global player in food processing and packaging industry, has leased approximately 1,200 sqm of space in Lakeside in Warsaw. JLL Poland is responsible for the exclusive commercialisation of the building, owned by Atenor.

New appointments

  • Robert Rogowski, former Vice President of the Management Board of Invest TDJ Estate, has been dismissed from his position. Magdalena Sierankiewicz has been appointed in his place.
  • Cushman & Wakefield Echinox appointed Cristina Lupașcu as Head of Marketing. She joined Cushman & Wakefield Echinox in 2021 as Director PR & Research, being responsible for assisting both the PR & Marketing and Research departments. Lupașcu has more than 20 years’ worth of experience in media and real estate.
  • Karolina Kunciak, an expert with experience in retail consultancy, has joined CBRE Poland. She will be responsible for high streets.
