Echo Investment to start new office project in Łódź

Echo Investment has received a building permit to start the first two office buildings at Fuzja. Thus, the developer has begun the next stage of the revitalization of the postindustrial part of Łódź. Flex space providers expand in Bucharest

CBRE advised flexible space provider Regus in the opening of its 12th centre at Sun Business Center project, located within Sun Plaza shopping centre. The decision of Regus responds to the demand for flexible spaces from companies in the northern half of the city, in order to provide an alternative for the employees living in the southern area, their share being estimated at 50% of the total staff.

TriGranit starts new office development in Katowice

TriGranit has laid the foundation stone of the first phase of its new Class-A office development, Silesia for Business in Katowice, Poland. The office building will be the final element of the mixed-use development project of TriGranit, started 15 years ago and realised on a 30 hectares large brownfield area. The post-mining area today includes a shopping mall and residential estates, while the new office building, providing approx. 26,000 sqm GLA and more than 400 parking spaces, is expected to be completed in Q4, 2021.

Office take-up in Prague set to fall in 2019

European office take-up is forecast to reach 9.2 million sqm by the end of 2019, down 4% from 2018’s end-year volume. Prague is expected to exceed that decline, with take-up predicted to fall by 22% to 400,000 sqm as demand for office space in the Czech capital continues the downward trend that began in Q2, according to the latest Savills research.

JLL brokers new lease for HB Reavis in Bratislava

New leases

  • Expur has leased 940 sqm for its new offices in Business Garden Bucharest, owned by Vastint Romania. The deal was brokered by Fortim Trusted Advisors, a member of the BNP Paribas Real Estate Alliance.
  • GTX Romania has leased 2,700 sqm in VLParks Bucharest West, in a deal brokered by iO Partners.
  • Vitalaire Romania, a subsidiary of the Air Liquide Group, has relocated its offices to Bucharest-based One Cotroceni Park, in a deal brokered by iO Partners.

New appointments

  • Artur Apostoł joins Griffin Capital Partners as Co-Managing Partner to lead the company’s real estate activities together with Marek Obuchowicz, who has been promoted to Co-Managing Partner. Artur and Marek are taking over responsibilities from Piotr Fijołek, who transitions from an active role and will continue supporting the firm as Senior Advisor. These appointments mark the completion of a leadership transformation aligned with the company’s dynamic growth and long-term strategy.
  • CBRE Hungary has named Anna Zhang as Business Development Manager, while Antoine Fromental takes on the role of Hotel Investment Analyst. Zhang is tasked with developing partnerships with Far Eastern clients and strengthening business relations in CEE markets. She previously served on the PwC Hungary China Desk team. Fromental joins the firm after roles at B&B Hotels and Cushman & Wakefield, where he contributed to various European hotel development, valuation, and market research projects.
  • Garbe has named Zuzana Štěpánková as Business Development Manager in the Czech Republic. She has previously worked at iO Partners as Senior Consultant.
