As COVID-19 restrictions are being gradually lifted, many employers are looking for solutions to enable workers to return safely to offices. However, the social distancing rules that are still in place are giving rise to many questions about protocols that should be introduced in the workplace. Savills has launched a special service and published a free guide titled Return to the Office.

MVGM has taken over the management of Forum 76, the office building located in Łódź and belonging to Benson Elliot and Sharow Capital. Sharow Capital is responsible for asset management. The handover of the building took place in March, during the server lockdown measures that have been implemented in Poland. The majority of the process has had to be completed virtually.

Immofinanz plans major upgrades at its myhive Haller Gardens office building in Budapest, including new services for the tenants. The owner expects demand to increase for more flexible workspace solutions and plans to alter leasing conditions accordingly.

The structure of OTP Bank's new office building in Budapest has been completed by developer Market Építő Zrt. The seven-story office building, which is being built in the 13th district, in the immediate vicinity of OTP Bank's existing office park, will be home to 3,000 employees once construction is complete in end-2021.

The Downtown One project has been awarded a LEED Precertification on the Gold level. It is the first building in Albania to be LEED precertified by the U.S. Green Building Council. The precertification process was advised by Colliers International Albania and the Colliers International Poland Green Building Advisor Team lead by Andrzej Gutowski.

Starting May 2020, Kraków’s Podium Park office building is managed by specialists from Globalworth. The in-house property management model, which allows operating closer to tenants, is one of the most important elements of the strategy of the investor.

Penta Real Estate has obtained a zoning decision which means that it can apply for a building permit for its Masaryk station mixed-use reconstruction project in the centre of Prague. Based on the design of Zaha Hadid Architects, the project has been in the works for over a decade. Completion is planned for 2022-2025.
