GLP has begun construction of a new 67,000 sqm warehouse at Wrocław V Logistics Centre in Magnice, Poland. The building is expected to achieve a BREEAM "Outstanding" level certification.

CTP has expanded its Polish land bank by nearly half a million sqm. The company has purchased investment land in four strategic locations that provide the opportunity to build approximately 200,000 sqm of leasable space in the short term, with this land in Łódź, Toruń and the Warsaw agglomeration ready to start the development process. This land acquisition is part of CTP's strategy announced last year to invest €300 million in Poland to grow its warehouse portfolio - a key growth market for CTP. 

Panattoni has begun construction on a new industrial park in Będzin. The first stage of the work has already been launched and is to be completed in September. It will comprise a 27,500 sqm building constructed on a speculative basis. The total area of the park is to come to 87,500 sqm. 

Segro has extended the lease agreement with Ikea in its park in Hostivice. The furniture dispensing warehouse has been located in SEGRO Logistics Park Prague since 2014.

The JV between Partners Group and Peakside Capital Advisors has completed the construction of the first warehouse facility in City Point Targówek. The 7,000 sqm building is fully leased to DPD Polska and is part of a park, which will provide nearly 100,000 sqm of last-mile logistics space within the borders of the Warsaw agglomeration.

Panattoni has finished the last stage of Panattoni Park Sulechów III. The centre has been developed for BestSecret clothing distributor. The building has a total area of 136,000 sqm, which makes it one of the largest logistics centres in the region.

Renewable energy companies announcing new large-scale projects in the north of Poland will need large spaces for storing components of solar and wind farms. Such tenants report sector-specific requirements, which may incentivise developers to build differently, says Michał Rafałowicz, Regional Director, Newmark Polska.

Panattoni has built another investment in Lesser Poland. City Logistics Kraków Airport II is located near the Kraków-Balice International Airport, where a new cargo terminal is being constructed. The facility is suitable for e-commerce and last-mile logistics. The investment was made on a speculative basis and already has its first tenant - Allegro.

Warehouse developer LemonTree has joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative under the aegis of the UN. This initiative aims to support companies in implementing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. At the same time, LemonTree joined the Climate Positive programme, which implements the climate goals set by the UN.

Panattoni has launched the construction of Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska IV. The new project will comprise 30,000 sqm and at the start a major tenant has already been found with midocean to lease 20,000 sqm of storage space including an extension option for a further 10,000 sqm.
