Law firm Kinstellar has advised Globalworth on the sale of a logistics portfolio in Romania to WDP, in one of the biggest industrial transactions completed in Romania in the year to date.

Polish fashion retailer LPP has reached 90,000 sqm of leased space in CTPark Bucharest West, after opening a new e-commerce facility spanning 40,000 sqm in the project. 

The modern, developer-led warehouse stock in the Czech Republic has reached 12.02 million sqm in the second quarter of 2024. Approximately 117,500 sqm were delivered to the market within 11 industrial parks. Industrial Research Forum has announced industrial market figures for Q2 2024. 

Panattoni has begun construction work on a new Built To Own (BTO) centre for the E.G.O.-Group (E.G.O.), a supplier for household manufacturers. The construction of the manufacturing plant is to start in July this year and the completion is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.

WDP has purchased several industrial projects and land plots from Globalworth and Global Vision for around €110 million. 

Panattoni has completed another built-to-suit (BTS) development. US manufacturer of production line components Maxcess has opened what is now its main European manufacturing plant in Fałkowo. Through investing PLN 60 million (ca. €14 million) in this project, the company will be able to double its current workforce.

Croatian autonomous car maker Verne has leased 28,500 sqm in VGP Park Zagreb for a new factory. Under the lease terms brokered by CBRE, VGP will develop a built-to-suit project for Verne featuring offices, warehouse space and a production facility.

Industrial developer CTP has completed the first phase of its CTPark Arad West project spanning 23,000 sqm, with another 20,000 sqm ready for tenant fit-out.

AEW has announced the BREEAM New Construction ‘Outstanding’ award with a score of 88.1% for its recently completed 36,400 sqm brownfield logistics development, “the Platform” in Pilsen, Czech Republic. 

The joint venture between Partners Group and Peakside Capital Advisors has launched the construction of the C2 facility at City Point Targówek. The light industrial building will offer 25,000 sqm of space with units starting from 1,000 sqm. Depenbrock Poland is the general contractor for the project.
