The joint venture between Partners Group, acting on behalf of its clients, and Peakside Capital Advisors announces the start of construction for City Point Okęcie, an urban logistics facility spanning over 11,000 sqm and located near Warsaw Chopin Airport. The completion date is anticipated for the summer of 2025, with Depenbrock Polska appointed as general contractor.

City Point Okęcie is a Build-to-Suit (BTS) project featuring more than 11,000 sqm of warehouse and office space, designed to meet the highest Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards. Key sustainable features will include heat pumps, a rooftop photovoltaic system, EV chargers, a green facade, and various natural water retention solutions.

The project is positioned on Kinetyczna Street in close proximity to Warsaw Chopin Airport, adjacent to the Warsaw Southern Bypass (S2 expressway) and the S79 expressway (connected with Marynarska and Sasanki Streets), with direct access to the airport.

The construction works will be carried out by Depenbrock Polska, which has been selected as the general contractor.

“We’re delighted to launch our second logistics development project within the city limits of Warsaw. The unique location required our team to have a forward-looking and rigorous approach throughout the entire development process. Therefore, the start of construction on City Point Okęcie marks a significant milestone for us”, said Michał Nawrot, Head of Investments CEE at Peakside Capital Advisors.

“We see City Point Okęcie as a prime example of how our investment strategy builds on our high-conviction themes. This project not only emphasizes our commitment to sustainable development through exemplary ESG practices but also addresses the strong demand for modern last mile logistics solutions in strategic locations”, added Philippe Dewevre, Member of Management, Head of Private Real Estate Asset Management Europe, at Partners Group.

City Point Okęcie represents the fourth asset in the Partners Group and Peakside joint venture – following City Point Targówek, Logistics Point Raszyn, and Logistics Point Piaseczno. Pursuing their value-add strategy, the JV partners aim to further expand their presence in urban logistics by acquiring and revitalising last-mile properties across key locations.
