Construction work has started on Panattoni Park Piła in Poland’s Wielkopolska province. The 44,000 sqm logistics park is already 90 pct leased – with Signify having taken up 33,500 sqm.

LOCONI Intermodal S.A. has leased almost 2,000 sqm of office and warehouse space and nearly 80,000 sqm of space for transport on the premises of the railway cargo terminal within an OKAM project located at Jagiellońska Street, in the Warsaw district of Żerań. Walter Herz, the leading agent for the commercialisation of the project, represented the owner in the lease process.

GLP, a leading investor and developer of logistics warehouses and distribution parks, has signed a long-term lease agreement with online retailer Alza.hu for a 22,000 sqm warehouse at Sziget Logistics Centre, Hungary. Construction is already in progress, and the building is due to be finalized in Q3 2022.

A new logistics park will be built in Ziar nad Hronom in central Slovakia by autumn 2023. The developer Contera will construct it here for € 22 million. The first big tenant is already assured too, it will be the electronics wholesaler Fast Plus, writes logistikadnes.sk. 

ELBI, the supplier of low power equipment, has leased 15,000 sqm in P3 Bucharest A1 and will start operating the warehouse in November 2022 following an investment of €3 million.

Dr. Schneider Automotive Polska Sp. z o.o., which belongs to the Dr. Schneider Group and has been operating in Poland since 2002, will move into Panattoni Park Jelenia Góra already in the second quarter of this year. BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland experts advised the automotive company in the search for a new production location and in the negotiation of the terms of the contract. A production plant will be built on an area of 7,439 sqm + 4,293 sqm of mezzanine floor to produce parts for electric cars, among other products.

Accolade Group has signed a €137.5 million (roughly CZK 3.4 billion) loan agreement. Thanks to this, the company will be able to finance the construction of a large multi-storey distribution centre near Kojetín in the Olomouc Region (located in the northeast of the Czech Republic) for the online store Amazon, writes the daily E15.

Panattoni is planning to deliver a complex of almost 70,000 sqm just 10 km from the centre of the city. A leading provider of modern logistics services in Poland is its first tenant, leasing around 9,000 sqm.

For the first quarter of 2022, the growth of the Czech industrial market and the recovery of industrial production were not stopped even by outages in the supply chains. This quarter also continued to see a sharp rise in rents in almost the entire country. The market for industrial premises will continue to grow, but over the year the full effects of the war in Ukraine will be felt and construction may slow down slightly, reports Colliers.

Industrial and logistics developer CTP reported like-for-like rental growth of 4.8% in the first quarter across its investment portfolio in European markets.
