SPM Poland, a member of the BCUBE Poland Group, has joined MLP Wrocław as its new tenant. The logistics operator has leased in total more than 15,000 sqm of modern space, with the first unit already completed. Construction of another facility is about to commence, and the building is slated for handover in the first quarter of next year. 

Panattoni has completed a BTS project for Solaris Bus & Coach in Bolechowo. The 10,000 sqm warehouse has been built next to the company’s existing factory and will play a key role in the parts and sub-assembly supply chain for the production of Solaris vehicles. The buildings have been connected with roads and utilities and Panattoni has additionally reinforced the roof to mount 260 kWp of solar cells.

Accolade Group plans to invest over CZK 6 billion in the Karlovy Vary Region. Accolade's portfolio currently includes two industrial parks near Cheb with a total of five buildings and thirteen tenants. Three more buildings are in preparation or under construction in Cheb. So far, the group has financed the development of approximately 250,000 sqm of industrial and logistics space in the area, the value of which exceeds CZK 5 billion.

Propco, a developer focused on small warehouse facilities, has finalised a property development deal for DPD Polska Sp. z o.o. The BTS facility will be built in Boleslawiec, and will provide a total of 2,500 sqm of cross-dock space. It is the first project carried out for DPD Polska as part of a development programme of regional small-format last-mile logistics facilities. Construction of the facility has already begun, while the space is scheduled to be handed over to the tenant for use at the turn of 2022/2023.

GTV, an international distributor of furniture accessories and LED lighting, has signed a lease for another 32,000 sqm of space at MLP Pruszków II. The company is already occupying 20,300 sqm at the logistics centre. The new building is to be handed over to the tenant next April. The transaction was brokered through AXI IMMO, a real estate advisory firm.

Development company Antracit is launching a series of projects in several cities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It is preparing a mixed-use rental project in Ostrava, an office and apartment project and a rental project in Pilsen. A mixed-use rental project is also being prepared in Žilina and another rental project in an industrial area in Prešov, the company announced. 

Warehouse developer LCube has started preparations for the implementation of his next investment. In Mszczonów, on a plot of approx. 8 ha, a facility of approx. 35,000 sqm is to be built.

Industrial parks built five or ten years ago are as good as new facilities in many respects. Constructed in prime suburban and well-connected locations, they continue to be upgraded. Most importantly, however, they offer ready-to-occupy and relatively competitively-priced warehouse space, says Michał Kozar, Associate, Industrial and Warehouse Department, Newmark Polska.

P3 has finalised the purchase of its third plot in Southern Poland. The acquisition is P3’s first investment in Upper Silesia, the second-largest warehouse market in the country.
