CTP has delivered a built-to-suit warehouse spanning 35,000 sqm in CTPark Mogoșoaia, near Bucharest, for pharmacy chain A&D Pharma – Dr. Max Group. 

Panattoni has leased out over 15,100 sqm to Chines e-commerce giant, JD International Logistics in its newly completed Panattoni Park Nadarzyn. The developer has also completed the process of the building’s certification in the BREAAM International New Construction system at the level “Excellent”. With a score of 78.4 percentage points the building has become the most ecological construction in Poland. The lease to JD.com was mediated by consultancy M4 Real Estate.

Swedish company Desenio Group set up a new distribution centre for European markets outside the Nordic region. For the centre, Desenio leased nearly 18,500 sqm in CTPark Bor. The transaction was assisted by Cushman & Wakefield.

The modern stock of industrial spaces in Romania reached 5.9 million sqm in the first semester of 2022, with 500,000 sqm under construction and 44% of this volume already pre-let, according to a report by real estate consultancy CBRE.

Investment into the European logistics real estate market remained strong in Q1 2022 and experienced a y-o-y growth of 19.6%. The growth of 28% above the five years average has experienced the leased warehouse space. The biggest change occupiers anticipate as a result of the pandemic is the shortening, or reshoring, of supply chains to mitigate risk. Also, the war in Ukraine and China´s lockdowns has driven the demand to record levels, indicates Savills in their last European Logistics Outlook published today.

UnicreditBank Czech Republic & Slovakia and Demaco have signed a long-term loan agreement together for funding the project in Northern Moravia. Demaco informed about the contract on its LinkedIn page.

Vantage Data Centers, a global provider of hyperscale data centre campuses, announced that two greenfield campuses in Berlin and Warsaw are now operational. The opening of a Warsaw campus marks the company’s first facility in Poland, while the development in Berlin marks the company’s second campus in Germany. Among Vantage’s portfolio of nine campuses in EMEA, five of them are now operational (Berlin I, Warsaw, Frankfurt I, Zurich and Cardiff).

International company TKH Group N.V., represented by its newly established company EEP LCC, has purchased an investment site of approximately eight hectares in Sieraków in the Rawicz municipality. In the formal preparation for obtaining the land for sale, support during negotiations and in the process of purchasing the land was provided by specialists from JLL’s industrial department in cooperation with the Rawicz Office for Investor Assistance.

GLP announced that its fourth logistics project in Mazovia has been completed. Totalling 35,500 sqm, the latest building – GLP Warsaw III Logistics Centre – is located just beyond the eastern boundary of Warsaw, next to the Kobyłka Junction of Expressway S8, offering an alternative to city warehouses.

Both Polish and international companies are reporting a growing demand for modern data centres. While the availability of suitable development land in established Western European markets is shrinking, Poland still has a large pool of excellent and affordable sites meeting data centre requirements.
