Panattoni has leased nearly 20,000 sqm of industrial space at Panattoni Park Wałbrzych to an e-commerce company, marking another collaboration between the two parties. The tenant will use the facility to manage operations across European markets, adding a further location in Lower Silesia to its network.
"Today's market, and in particular the specific nature of the e-commerce sector, requires a developer not only to offer an attractive location and high standards, but also flexibility and the ability to deliver space quickly," said Damian Kowalczyk, Managing Director of the Lower Silesia Region at Panattoni. He added that the transaction was completed within one week from the initial enquiry to the signing of the contract, with the space handed over to the tenant the following day.
Kowalczyk also noted that "the choice of Panattoni Park Wałbrzych by a leading e-commerce firm confirms the city's appeal as an alternative location in Lower Silesia," and that Panattoni has delivered nearly 2.5 million sqm across the region, the second-highest figure in Poland.
Panattoni Park Wałbrzych comprises two warehouses totalling 57,000 sqm, located in the Szczawienko district near national road No. 35, close to the Czech border. The park sits within the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, holds BREEAM certification, and serves tenants in e-commerce, logistics and light manufacturing. Approximately 6,000 sqm of space remains available for let.
