Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Polska has signed a lease for 5,350 sqm at MLP Poznań, a logistics park in Koninko near Poznań. Of the total area, nearly 500 sqm will be used for office and staff facilities, with the remainder allocated to warehousing. The facility is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of next year. BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland advised the tenant on the transaction.
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Polska is a European transport platform that has integrated more than 100 carriers within a single ecosystem since 2010. The company specialises in domestic and international pallet shipments and also operates through the GlobKurier.pl platform.
"The growing interest from the logistics sector in our parks confirms that we successfully combine high-quality infrastructure with locations that meet the needs of modern businesses. We are confident that MLP Poznań will provide the right environment to support our new partner's continued growth," said Tomasz Pietrzak, Leasing Director Poland at MLP Group.
"Given our client's rapid growth, its existing space was no longer sufficient to meet its operational needs. The key objective was to find a partner in a proven location that could provide a modern, efficient and environmentally friendly facility supporting Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Polska's operations in the region," said Paweł Pajka, Senior Consultant, Industrial and Logistics Agency at BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.
MLP Poznań is being developed on a 19.2-hectare site and will ultimately offer approximately 90,000 sqm of warehouse and production space. All buildings are subject to BREEAM certification. The park is located directly adjacent to the S11 expressway connecting Poznań with Katowice, approximately 16 km from the city centre and 4 km from the A2 motorway.
