Industrial park developer Cometex, owned by Romanian retailer Altex România, has sold the Bucovina shopping centre in Suceava to local entrepreneur Andrei Mandachi in a transaction valued at €7 million.

This is the second deal completed by Cometex in this city after the sale of another retail centre a few years ago.

The Bucovina centre has a leasable area of 8,000 sqm and is located in a 4-storey building. The transaction was assisted by law firm Păcuraru, Măzareanu, Iliescu & Asociații.

“As far as our company's plans are concerned, we will continue to remain committed to the strategy and investments in modern retail parks, including in Suceava county, where we already have concrete plans and projects in Rădăuți, Vatra Dornei, being an area with great potential,” said Adrian Urdă, CEO Cometex.

Cometex’s development plans include 30 retail parks across the country that will be delivered in the next two years.
