Panattoni Hungary has completed the second building at Panattoni Park Moson in Mosonmagyaróvár, receiving an occupancy permit for the approximately 24,000 sqm facility. The two halls now together provide close to 51,000 sqm of logistics and warehouse space. The first building comprises nearly 27,000 sqm, and the second received its permit in August, having been delivered in approximately six months thanks to favourable weather conditions and careful technical scheduling. The entire park is occupied by FIEGE Szállítmányozási és Logisztikai Kft., the Hungarian subsidiary of the international logistics group. The roughly HUF 10 billion investment is financed by the Recorde Panattoni RPM Ingatlanbefektetési Alap, managed by Recorde Alapkezelő Zrt., a subsidiary of the Concorde Group. The second building was constructed by Goldbeck Hungária Kft.
FIEGE originally leased around 18,000 sqm in the first hall before gradually expanding its presence as new contracts materialised. The park is situated close to the Austrian-Hungarian-Slovak border and has direct access to the M1 motorway, positioning it as a hub for FIEGE's western Hungary logistics operations. The second building is targeting a BREEAM Excellent certification, with the assessment currently under way.
"The completion of the second hall marks an important milestone in the development of Panattoni Park Moson. From the outset, our goal was to create a modern, sustainable and well-located logistics hub capable of meeting the needs of international supply chains over the long term. The proximity of the tri-border area, direct access to the M1 motorway and high technical standards together provide a competitive advantage that is particularly valuable to international logistics operators," said László Kemenes, managing director of Panattoni Hungary.
"The development of Panattoni Park Moson is an important step in expanding our capacity in western Hungary. Our plans for the first hall grew further while the development was already under way, and our new contracts made it clear that we would also need the second building. Together, the two halls provide us with a modern, strategically located base that effectively supports our regional distribution and supply chain processes," said Gergely Hepp, managing director of FIEGE Group's SEE region.
"With the handover of the second building, we have brought another successful development to completion. Panattoni Park Moson demonstrates the value that can be created when professional real estate development and investment expertise is matched with strong, long-term occupier demand," added Gábor Kutas, founder and CEO of Recorde Alapkezelő.
