iO Partners, JLL’s preferred partner, has opened a new office in Belgrade, Serbia. From this location, the real estate consultancy will also cover neighboring countries including Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro. 

Marie Baláčová has been named Partner at Cushman & Wakefield. She will also lead the business development services team for the CEE and Nordics region. The new role is a part of the company’s new operating model aiming at more efficient collaboration of market research, marketing and communications experts across countries and regions, further supporting advisory services to clients. 

AXI IMMO, an advisory firm operating in the Polish commercial real estate market, and British property consultancy Carter Jonas have formed an alliance, with both firms aiming to strengthen their cross-border activities.

Atenor Group has announced the appointment of Norbert Schőmer as the new leader to guide the real estate developer in Hungary. Mr. Schőmer has held significant roles in prominent organizations in the real estate industry over the past decades.

Changes are currently taking place in HB Reavis’ executive leadership teams and across the Board of Directors. Marian Herman and Peter Pecnik stepped down as Group CEO and Group CFO, respectively. CBRE announced that sustainability expert Steffen Walvius has joined the company. Steffen will lead the Energy & Carbon service offerings across Continental Europe, expanding the suite of ESG & Sustainability services the company delivers to clients.
