Czech investment group AKIPIA has joined Liebrecht & wooD and BBI Development as a co-investor in the Roma Tower residential project in Warsaw. The 170-metre tower, to be built at the intersection of Emilii Plater and Nowogrodzka streets, will contain 357 apartments. Italian studio Pininfarina is responsible for the interior design concept and apartment finishing options.
"We are delighted to welcome AKIPIA to Roma Tower. It is a partner that shares our ambition for a project of exceptional scale and character. Its decision to invest in the project also confirms the growing interest of Central and Eastern European investors in the Polish market, as well as Warsaw's attractiveness as a destination for capital," said Magdalena Bartkiewicz-Podoba, CEO of Liebrecht & wooD in Poland.
The building will include a private cinema, recreational floors and a wellness area with a 25-metre swimming pool. Pininfarina will cover the interior design of the main lobby and reception area, lift lobbies and lifts, recreational spaces and apartment finishing options. Roma Tower is also the first residential development in Poland to receive a three-star Fitwel certification rating, and in 2026 it received two Best in Building Health Awards: Highest Scoring in Design Project in EMEA and Multifamily Residential v2.1 (Design).
"AKIPIA recognised the value of Roma Tower and its potential to define luxury for generations to come. We are confident that the project will become one of Warsaw's new symbols," added Bartkiewicz-Podoba.
Roma Tower is a joint project of Liebrecht & wooD, BBI Development and Fundacja Pro Bonum, with the architectural design prepared by the Juvenes-Projekt team led by Jacek Świderski. AKIPIA is a Czech investment group that develops projects both independently and in partnership with other investors. The building permit has been obtained and construction is scheduled to begin in autumn 2026, with the official project presentation and the launch of apartment sales planned for 2027.
