BIG Poland is developing a new retail park in Bolesławiec, Lower Silesia, in cooperation with Trei Real Estate Poland. The project, BIG Bolesławiec, covers approximately 18,000 sqm GLA and is fully leased ahead of its planned opening at the end of Q4 2026.
"Bolesławiec fits very well with the way we approach development in Poland. We focus on markets where the fundamentals support a strong project over the long term, including catchment potential, accessibility, tenant demand and a clear role for the asset in the local market. The fact that BIG Bolesławiec is already fully leased ahead of opening confirms the strength of the location," said Eran Levy, CEO of BIG Poland.
The retail park will be situated directly on national road DK94 and will host 14 tenants, including Biedronka, Leroy Merlin, HalfPrice, dm, Rossmann, Media Expert, RTV EURO AGD, Ochnik, Maxi Zoo, Pepco, Martes, MR.DIY, Villaro and Haul Moda. Construction is at an advanced stage, with individual units being handed over for fit-out. SPS Budownictwo is serving as general contractor, responsible among other things for delivering the Leroy Merlin and Biedronka stores. A new roundabout is also being built on DK94 adjacent to the site to improve access.
BIG Bolesławiec is part of BIG Poland's broader development pipeline in regional markets. The company is also developing retail parks in Piła, Olkusz and Konstantynów Łódzki, expanding through both new developments and acquisitions.
BIG Poland has been active in Poland since 2022 and currently owns 13 retail parks in locations including Andrychów, Lubin, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Olsztyn, Kielce and Grodzisk Mazowiecki, with a combined area of nearly 258,000 sqm GLA. The company received the Investor of the Year title at the CEE Retail Awards 2026, while BIG Gorzów was named Retail Development of the Year, CEE at the Eurobuild CEE Awards 2025.
