Synapsis Property Ventures plans to build a new type of hotel at the entrance to Železná studienka in the office zone next to ESET's headquarters in Bratislava. The plan has already received a positive investment decision from the City of Bratislava. The total cost of the construction is estimated by the developer to exceed €50 million. The project is co-financed by Tatra Banka. 

Belgrade’s residential market is not cooling down with demand remaining strong and price growth continuing, according to real estate agency Cordon’s report for Q2 2023.

Industrial and logistics developer Panattoni has delivered Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz IV, which comprises three buildings with a total area of 110,000 sqm. The project has been fully leased out to companies specialized in production, logistics and FMCG

E.ON Business Services Cluj, part of the German group E.ON, will relocate to a  new office space in Record Park, the mixed-use project developed by Speedwell, and owned by AYA Properties Fund. The fit out works for the new office have been completed and the company is expected to start operations in the new space soon.

Romanian real estate company Rock Development Holding will invest €70 million in the development of its first five-star luxury hotel in Poiana Brașov. The new luxury project will comprise a hotel with 120 rooms and an aparthotel with 75 residential units.

Hospitality group Accor has inaugurated The Crown, a four-star hotel in Kraków, which is part of the Handwritten Collection, a portfolio of boutique hotels from around the world. This is Accor’s second property of this kind in the region and the first in Poland.

Tomáš Vrbický, Founder of Czech development company Noho, talked to Property Forum about the recent energy crisis's positive impact on the sustainable housing approach. According to him, the crises also helped people to think about “green” housing more deeply and be more willing to pay extra for such living with unique solutions for energy savings as it can enormously reduce energy costs in the future.

Bratislava's downtown has a new tall building. The Mill, by developer Immocap, is nearing completion and recently took down the scaffolding to reveal the final form of the high-rise project, real estate website yimba.sk reports.

Consumer prices in Hungary were 17.6% higher on average in July 2023 than a year earlier. The highest price rises were measured for electricity, gas and other fuels as well as food over the last twelve months. In one month, consumer prices increased by 0.3% on average, within which, however, clothing and footwear cost 1.4%, food 0.9% and consumer durables 0.5% less, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH) reports.

Nefab Packaging Poland, a provider of packaging and logistics solutions, has leased nearly 11,000 sqm of industrial and warehouse space for the next five years in CTPark Gdańsk Port. The lease allows Nefab to expand its presence in the Pomerania region and to boost its production volumes in northern Poland.
