Multi Corporation has announced the appointment of Luca Maganuco as the new Managing Director for Multi Central and Eastern Europe, effective 1 July 2018. He will be responsible for Multi’s activities in Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine.

Israeli-owned real estate developer Hagag Development Europe has commenced construction works on its first office project in Romania, H Victoriei 109. The developer is planning to invest over €8 million euro in the 6,000 sqm project.

Forte Partners has purchased a 5,400 sqm land plot for the third building of The Bridge in Bucharest. At an average price of at least €500 per square meter in the area, the deal could amount to €2.7 million, zf.ro estimates.

Colliers sold the former Remy Automotive industrial site in Mezőkövesd, Hungary to Kiss és Társa Ltd, a local entrepreneur in the iron/metal business. The site has approx. 16 000 sqm buildings on a 13.6 ha plot and will be used for iron/metal production and warehousing purposes. Colliers represented the vendor, BorgWarner, the widely known, major automotive supplier during the transaction.

Atrium European Real Estate Limited has completed the sale of the Atrium Militari shopping centre in Bucharest, Romania to MAS Real Estate Inc. for €95 million, which represents a 9% premium to book value on 31 December 2017.

ELI, a company incorporated in Netherland, and co-managed by Griffin Real Estate (GRE), finalised the acquisition of a portfolio of nine operating logistics parks developed by Panattoni Europe. The value of the deal is around €200 million. At the same time, Panattoni Europe jointly with ELI plans to invest circa €800 million to enlarge the newly acquired portfolio into a leading Polish logistic platform. GRE and Panattoni will co-manage the new venture going onwards.

Tesco and Carrefour have announced their intention to enter into a long-term, strategic alliance. The alliance will cover the strategic relationship with global suppliers, the joint purchasing of own brand products and goods not for resale. It will be governed by a three-year operational framework.
