VGP announces the acquisition of a new land plot in a prime location near Bucharest and the start of the development of its new multi-tenant business park VGP Park Bucharest. Law firm Kinstellar advised VGP Parks on the acquisition.
VGP has handed over a building in its VGP Park Kecskemét to the Swiss technology company Flisom AG. VGP Park Kecskemét is being built on a site of approx. 86,000 sqm which will represent a total rentable area of about 40,000 sqm.
VGP announces the start of development of its new multitenant business park in Brașov, Central Romania. With the groundworks started beginning of November, the first building with a surface of 9,400 sqm is planned to be delivered mid-2021 and will be partly occupied by pharmaceutical company Fildas Trading Srl. VGP Park Brașov is being developed on a land plot of approx. 390,000 sqm and will have a total potential of about 180,000 sqm lettable area.
VGP, a European provider of high-quality logistics and semi-industrial real estate, has successfully priced an offering of €200 million in gross proceeds by means of a private placement of new ordinary shares via an accelerated bookbuild offering to international institutional investors of 2.00 million new shares (approximately 10.8% of the company's outstanding shares on completion of the offering) at an issue price of €100.00 per share, representing a discount of 4.58% compared to the last traded price of the company’s share on 21 April 2020 of €104.8.
VGP NV and Allianz Real Estate, acting on behalf of several Allianz Group companies, announced a successful sixth closing with its 50:50 joint venture, VGP European Logistics. The transaction comprises 13 logistic buildings, including 7 buildings in 3 new VGP parks and another 6 newly completed logistic buildings which were developed in parks previously transferred to the Joint Venture.
Dentons advised Raiffeisen Bank International AG and Raiffeisen Bank SA in connection with a €34 million facility agreement granted to VGP Park Timisoara SRL to refinance an industrial project, including four prime logistic buildings in Timis, Romania.
Arcona Capital, acting on behalf of the Jersey-based Belgravia European Fund, has completed the sale of the Fund’s residual industrial development site located in Chomutov, northern Bohemia, to VGP Group. The site, with planning permission for industrial use, is located next to the D7 motorway close to the town of Chomutov.
