Celanese Hungary Ltd. is setting up its new 4,200 sqm headquarters in Promenade Gardens as of April 2018. The decision was made prior to the foundation stone being laid for the new office building on inner Váci út. The regional financial and logistics business service center of the international company found its new home on the 1st and 2nd floors of the modern, 4-tower building (in cores B, C and D).
Staamp Poland Sp. z o.o., a manufacturer of plastic components for the automotive industry, will add 2,600 sqm to its manufacturing facility in Błonie near Warsaw. Brica Group Sp. z o.o. is the general contractor of the project. Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield represented Staamp Poland.
The Polish unit of Swedish IT company Cybercom has leased over 2,500 sqm of space in the Nowa Fabryczna office building developed by Skanska in the city of Łódź. JLL advised Cybercom on the leasing process.
Sii has leased over 3,400 sqm of space from Skanska in Poznań’s Maraton office building in order to design an office for both its current team and 200 new specialists who will be employed by the end of 2018.
Prologis has signed two lease agreements with Sony DADC, a disc and digital solution provider for the entertainment, education and information industries, totalling 20,450 square metres at Prologis Park Pilsen-Štěnovice.
Inforsys, a business process outsourcing operator in Poland, is expanding its offer of comprehensive logistics services under a lease agreement with Panattoni Europe that will continue until July 2020. Inforsys will take up 10,000 sqm of warehouse space dedicated to e-commerce companies with an option to extend the lease by another 10,000 sqm. Inforsys will process orders in the facilities which will also be used as a second mass printing and envelope stuffing location in addition to the Radzymin operational centre. Cushman & Wakefield acted as the agent on the transaction.
PwC has decided to extend its office space in Silesia Business Park in Katowice by over 2,000 sqm and plans to employ over 300 specialists. As a result, 100% of the leasable space in building A of the complex is leased now.
Global law firm White & Case has signed a lease agreement for 2,500 sqm of modern space in the Q22 office building. The firm will relocate to its new office by the end of 2017 and will occupy floors 37-38 as well as part of floor 39. JLL represented White & Case during the process of selecting a new office and negotiating the lease terms.
Clothing company LPP SA, owner of brands such as Reserved, Tallinder, Mohito, House, Crops and Sinsay, decided to move into the Waterside building in Gdansk by leasing an office of more than 1,000 sqm. Knight Frank, acted as sole agent on behalf of the property’s owner, the Deka Immobilien fund.
Cushman & Wakefield brokered the lease of a prominent four-storey unit of 5,500 sqm retail area in Prague on Wenceslas Square to HalfPrice, a Polish off-price brand retailer, part of the CCC Group. HalfPrice's flagship store in Prague will be the company's largest store in the world.
The global healthcare company, Falck, has chosen the Skyliner in Warsaw, owned by the Karimpol Group as its new office for their IT department in Poland. It will occupy nearly 1,500 sqm of space.
A new tenant has moved into Kraków's V.Offices office building. Imperial Brands Services has signed a lease for nearly 1,600 sqm of space. The building's owner, AFI Europe, was represented in the transaction by experts from Knight Frank, while the tenant was represented by the CBRE agency.
New appointments
In September, Michal Berski took up the position of head of the warehouse sector at CBRE Poland. He has been with the company for over 10 years. In his new role, he manages strategy and the development of all business lines within the warehouse and industrial sector.
Slawomir Czarnecki is the new president of Grupa Muszkieterów and ITM Poland. He has replaced David de Bosschère. The new CEO is the owner of the Bricomarché shop in Świecie and has many years of experience in trade, as well as in the Group's internal structures.
LCP Properties, a developer in the Polish retail park market, is continuing to strengthen its organisational structure. Andrzej Plit has been appointed as the new Finance Director. Meanwhile, for the LCP-owned EMKA shopping centre in Koszalin, Daria Kokowska became the new Shopping Center Director.
