Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH has launched the development of 8,000 square metres in Garbe Green Park Piešťany. A new space comprising 3,000 square metres will be occupied by Inalfa, a designer, producer and supplier of roof solutions for the automotive industry. The remaining 5,000 square metres will be delivered speculatively and available for lease from May 2022.
Contera has become the new owner of Vlčie hrdlo Business Park in Bratislava, located on a former brownfield area and offering 33,420 square meters of warehouse and office space, the company announced on LinkedIn. Contera purchased the asset, situated close to R7 highway, from investment group Natland.
Nivy mall in Bratislava, a new shopping centre developed by HB Reavis that also includes the city’s new international bus terminal, has welcomed almost 330,000 visitors in the first week following the centre’s opening on 30 September.
The first modern regional shopping centre in Prešov, the third biggest city in Slovakia, is opening a second stage on 23 September. JTRE’s expanded EPERIA Shopping Mall will include new fashion brands, restaurants, and a multiplex cinema, with the retail area increasing by 50%. The shopping centre will provide visitors with a wide range of customer services, more parking spaces, and new indoor and outdoor relaxation zones.
CTP has started the construction of a new warehousing facility for GEIS Global Logistics at CTPark Prešov South. A new 5 500 sqm facility will help GEIS strengthen its position in the Eastern part of the country, with the premises strategically located in the third-largest city of Slovakia.
Construction works on the new bus station in the Nivy complex on Mlynské Nivy Street in Bratislava are in their final stages. Developer HB Reavis is already fine-tuning the details, testing lighting, technology and information systems. The terminal will be airport-style with 36 platforms, seven drop-off points and 86 bus stands with barrier-free access, the company informs in a press release.
Union Investment and GARBE Industrial Real Estate jointly acquired the first logistics property for their “UII Garbe Logistik Fonds” investment fund. The seller is the Karimpol Group, a privately held property developer active in Eastern and Central Europe for over 30 years. It was agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
Austrian company Karimpol Group officially launched the construction of the Squarebizz Bory project in Bratislava which will include retail, storage and office space. Peter Šmitala, Project Manager at Karimpol Slovakia talked to Property Forum about the project and the company’s future plans.

The District Labour Inspectorate in Gdańsk will move its headquarters to the Palio Office Park B office building located on the site of the Gdańsk Shipyard. The institution will rent more than 1.7 thousand sqm on two floors in the facility.
Societe Generale Branch in Poland and SG Equipment Leasing Poland, companies belonging to the French financial group Societe Generale, are moving into the Studio complex by Skanska in Warsaw. Both companies will occupy offices in Building B on ul. Łucka. They will be the first of four tenants in the office building completed in Q4 2023. In total, Skanska's investment offers 16,400 sqm of office space, which is now fully leased.
