Romanian developer One United Properties has acquired a new land of 23,350 sqm in the second district of Bucharest, one week after closing a separate land deal in the city. 

Domestic investors own some of the largest office projects that are under development in Romania, although international players have the biggest portfolios in the market. 

Spanish-based developer Gran Via has appointed Antoanela Comșa as the new President of its Romanian operations. She is replacing Jose Aguinaga, who will remain the main shareholder of the company.

The residential sector has proven its resilience during the pandemic and housing accounts for 69% (over €20 billion) of the loans granted to Romanians, according to a report by the National Bank of Romania (BNR). 

Enel X Romania is implementing a photovoltaic (PV) system for retailer Kaufland Romania. The project is developed near the company’s logistics centre in Turda following an investment of €1 million.
