Romanian developer Iulius and its partner Atterbury Europe have secured a financing deal worth €410 million for its national network of shopping centres in four Romanian cities. 

Romanian property holding Meta Estate Trust received €4.8 million after exiting its investment in Bucharest-based Smart Residence Lujerului.

Genesis Property is investing €50 million in YUNITY Park, a mixed-use project in Bucharest with co-working and co-living components. Liberty Technology Park is one of the first technological parks in Romania, currently hosting a vibrant IT ecosystem. The 17,000 sqm office compound has been acquired by White Star Real Estate and its partners in 2019, planning to create a true mixed-use project, harmoniously blending the existing business community with new complementary areas. The first phase will include two residential buildings, currently under construction, followed by a separate building designed for a kindergarten and three office buildings, with generous retail spaces on the ground floor. Real estate consultancy company Griffes will oversee the commercial and leasing strategy of the project. 

DBH Group, a Dutch-based international corporation, focusing on venture capital, flexible infrastructure & corporate services, has leased office spaces in two buildings owned by Skanska in Romania and Hungary. 

Industrial developer MLP Group has appointed Olga Melihov as the new Country Head in Romania, tasked with for developing new warehouse and logistics projects. 

Up to 20 new hotels are slated for delivery across the country by the end of 2023, of which six projects will be completed in Bucharest, according to a report by real estate consultancy Crosspoint Real Estate.
