River Development will complete in May 2023 an investment of more than €1 million in a photovoltaic power plant for the generation of green, renewable and clean energy in Sema Parc. The plan will initially cover part of the electricity consumption in three office buildings based in the Bucharest project.

The system features three photovoltaic sub-power plants with around 3,000 solar panels and an installed capacity of 1.2 MW.

“The implementation of this investment project for the installation of photovoltaic power plants in Sema Parc will result in the partial supply of electricity to the Berlin, Paris and Brussels buildings, almost 38,000 sqm (GLA), from a ‘green’, renewable and non-polluting source such as solar energy,” said Lucian Grosaru, General Manager of Sema Parc SA, Sema Parc's facility & property management company.

The renewable energy investment was carried out in partnership with SIMTEL Team, a Romanian company specialized in the solar industry.

River Development has over 150,000 sqm of office space in its portfolio and has delivered over 38,000 sqm of new class A buildings in the last three years, as part of the Sema Parc project.
