The strong demand for apartments in new buildings in the Moravian metropolis is not slowing down, according to the latest analysis by Trikaya. In the first quarter of 2025, developers in Brno have sold 479 new apartments, the most since Q2 2021. 

BNP Paribas Bank Polska, mBank, and Santander Bank Polska have awarded a PLN 760 million (ca. €181.8 million) loan to finance the Noho One residential complex in Warsaw. Dentons law firm advised the banks.

PSN has announced the launch of the sale of the first phase of the Brno Jedna residential project near the very centre of Brno. The first two buildings – Neon and Xenon – will offer a total of 188 units.

Develia has signed a preliminary agreement to acquire 100% of shares in Bouygues Immobilier Polska, the  Polish branch of Bouygues Immobilier, a property developer in France. The price set in the preliminary agreement is €66.5 million (approx. PLN 283.6 million). The acquisition will allow Develia to increase the number of residential units under development and enhance the growth potential of its land bank in Warsaw, Poznań, and Wrocław.

Sekyra Group has purchased key land in the area of Prague's former Žižkov Freight Station from Czech Railways. The Prague City Council has approved a change to the zoning plan on Thursday, reports E15.cz.

After a record-breaking end to 2024, the residential new-build market in Bratislava has cooled slightly in Q1 2025. According to data from BuiltMind in cooperation with Cushman & Wakefield, 527 units have been sold in the first quarter of 2025. 

Romania’s volume of construction work increased in the first two months of the current year, with a 16.7% rise in the unadjusted series, and a 19.5% rise in the series adjusted for working days and seasonality versus 2024, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INS).

The residential market in Prague continues to grow strongly. According to data from BuiltMind, over 2,100 newly built units were sold in the first quarter of 2025, almost 15% more than in the previous quarter.

Foreign demand for Hungarian residential real estate surged in 2024, marking a return to pre-Covid activity levels. According to government statistics, non-EU nationals submitted 3,647 applications to purchase property in Hungary last year — a 23% increase compared to 2023. Of these, 3,485 were approved, according to the reports of brokerage firm Duna House.

The largest private student residence in Poland has just changed ownership. Offering 775 modern accommodation units, Basecamp Wrocław will add to the portfolio of Xior. The price has not been revealed.
