Wing has acquired a 10,900 sqm development site in Debrecen through its residential brand Living. The company plans to build around 400 modern, energy-efficient apartments in several phases in Hungary's second-largest city. This marks Living's first residential development outside of Budapest, addressing strong demand in the local real estate market.

The project will launch in the second half of 2026, with most apartments available through the Home Start program loan schemes. Apartments will be offered with a 20-80% payment schedule. The site is located near Hajnal Street, Alkotmány Street, and Csengő Street, just 10 minutes from Piac Street.

"This completed transaction marks an important milestone for Living, as it enables us to launch our first residential development outside of Budapest. In Debrecen, too, we will deliver the careful planning, high quality, and modern, sustainable homes that people have come to expect from Living at accessible prices," said Tibor Tatár, Head of Wing's residential and office development businesses in Hungary.

The development will primarily feature apartments ranging from 40-45 sqm, ideal for students, young professionals, and newcomers to Debrecen. Larger two- and three-bedroom apartments will also be built for families. The ground floor will include retail spaces, while the development will feature parking, community services, and green spaces.

Debrecen has become one of Hungary's fastest-growing cities thanks to recent industrial and technological investments. Multinational companies have created thousands of new jobs, driving significant increases in property prices and rental rates. However, new residential developments have not kept pace with demand, creating a need for additional housing supply.
