Since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Ukraine has experienced profound demographic and economic shifts. One of the most significant developments has been the increasing strategic importance of the country’s western regions—Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Zakarpattia—as safe havens for internally displaced persons (IDPs), as well as new focal points for business relocation and investment. Penta Real Estate has completed and handed over a residential building with 54 apartments for long-term rental housing in the area of Waltrovka Pod Vidoulí in Prague. It has been built on a turnkey basis for the XPlace platform, which is operated by the Archbishopric of Prague. 

Prima Development Group has announced the completion of a residential complex in northern Bucharest totaling 482 units.

The demand for fully furnished apartments for rent in Prague has been growing for some time. The new trend is reflecting today's accelerating pace, expecting the market to accommodate.  

The strong demand for apartments in new buildings in the Moravian metropolis is not slowing down, according to the latest analysis by Trikaya. In the first quarter of 2025, developers in Brno have sold 479 new apartments, the most since Q2 2021. 

BNP Paribas Bank Polska, mBank, and Santander Bank Polska have awarded a PLN 760 million (ca. €181.8 million) loan to finance the Noho One residential complex in Warsaw. Dentons law firm advised the banks.

PSN has announced the launch of the sale of the first phase of the Brno Jedna residential project near the very centre of Brno. The first two buildings – Neon and Xenon – will offer a total of 188 units.

Develia has signed a preliminary agreement to acquire 100% of shares in Bouygues Immobilier Polska, the  Polish branch of Bouygues Immobilier, a property developer in France. The price set in the preliminary agreement is €66.5 million (approx. PLN 283.6 million). The acquisition will allow Develia to increase the number of residential units under development and enhance the growth potential of its land bank in Warsaw, Poznań, and Wrocław.

Sekyra Group has purchased key land in the area of Prague's former Žižkov Freight Station from Czech Railways. The Prague City Council has approved a change to the zoning plan on Thursday, reports E15.cz.
