The Czech government plans to introduce subsidy programs that could significantly help fund housing for refugees. In addition to funding from the state budget, money from the National Recovery Plan is also being considered. The use of the money depends on the approval of all EU-27 countries, Czech daily E15.cz reports.
Property developer Globalworth is providing 12,000 sqm of its portfolio in Romania and Poland for Ukraine war humanitarian relief efforts. The spaces will be used to accommodate refugees and provide them with related logistical support as well as depositing and sorting the donations.
A complex of three Komerční banka office buildings with an area of more than 12,000 sqm has been bought by Central Group in Prague 9. Heimstaden has offered the Czech government 500 apartments for Ukrainian families. LCP Properties, a developer in the Polish retail park market, is continuing to strengthen its organisational structure. Andrzej Plit has been appointed as the new Finance Director. Meanwhile, for the LCP-owned EMKA shopping centre in Koszalin, Daria Kokowska became the new Shopping Center Director.
