Garbe Green Park Piestany in Western Slovakia is on course. The first 4,700 sqm hall is fully leased. The second hall, which will have a final area of 18,000 sqm, is just starting to be built. It should be ready early next year. The news was announced today by the developer.

European Logistics Investment (ELI), a logistics platform in Poland, has closed H1 2022 with 1.2 million sqm of standing, under construction, and secured pipeline projects. Over the first 6 months of the year, ELI has also expanded its landbank, adding 90,000 sqm GLA to its development potential, and initiated the construction of logistics assets with a total GLA of 97,000 sqm.

7R, in a joint venture partnership with MFC Real Estate and DIL Polska Baumanagement, has finalized the sale of 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I to Macquarie Asset Management. The facility includes three buildings, comprising 15,900 sqm, and is fully leased. The value of the transaction is approx. €29 million. This is another transaction between Macquarie Asset Management and 7R. In November 2021, the investor also acquired urban warehouses near Wrocław, Gdańsk, and Łódź. 

The largest logistics hall in the Czech Republic will rise near Cheb (in the westernmost region of the country). Accolade and Panattoni are already intensively preparing its construction in the local industrial zone. According to the Industrial Research Forum (IRF), an association of consultancy firms, this is the largest domestic transaction in Q2 2O22, with the pre-lease of logistics space in the area of about 233,700 sqm. The name of the tenant (an unspecified distribution company) has not yet been disclosed by either party. Lucie Mareš Heřmanovská, a spokeswoman for the Accolade company, informed Property Forum about the project. 

The seller of plumbing supplies has leased more than 23,000 sqm at the MLP Poznań West logistics park. Once completed and BREEAM certified, the facility will be handed over to Bevo in November this year. The transaction was completed through BNP Paribas Real Estate, an advisory firm.

Leasing volumes in the Romanian industrial and logistics market rose by 50% to 542,000 sqm compared to the same period of last year, with more than half of the activity being generated around Bucharest.

Panattoni has marked its debut in Asian markets with the opening of its first operational headquarters in India located in Bengaluru, the capital and largest city in the southwest state of Karnataka. Panattoni India is led by Managing Director, Sandeep Chanda, formerly head of strategy & acquisitions at Embassy Industrial Parks.

Romania’s modern industrial and logistics facilities stock reached 5.6 million sqm at the end of 2021, which represents the third largest industrial and logistics market among 15 of the biggest economies in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). 

Lidl Polska, one of the largest retail chains in the country, will become one of the tenants of 7R Park Poznań West this August. The company will use nearly 10,900 sqm of modern warehouse and office space.

More than 600,000 sqm of warehouse space is under construction in Lower Silesia. Of that total, nearly two-thirds are being built in Wrocław and its suburbs. Demand for new warehouses in the region comes mainly from e-commerce and 3PL, according to Newmark Polska.
