Regesta S.A., a specialist provider of logistics services, has leased 33,000 sqm in one of the two warehouses of Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska V. The tenant was advised on the choice of the location and during lease negotiations by real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska.

Regesta S.A. has been active on the market for 28 years, providing road haulage and domestic and international forwarding services. It also offers contract logistics as well as transportation by sea and rail. It has a fleet of 330 tractor units and 380 semi-trailers, specializing in transportation using coil-mule semi-trailers. Regesta also closely cooperates with contract hauliers operating more than 200 semi-trailer trucks and complementing its transport services. It has four warehouses with a combined area of 60,000-plus sqm but has now decided to expand its warehouse capabilities by over 50%. The high quality of its services is valued especially by companies from the steel and automotive sectors, for which Regesta provides regular transportation of materials and semi-finished products. PV industry companies contracting door-to-door deliveries also constitute a substantial proportion of Regesta's client portfolio. Regesta has an almost 700-strong team executing over 100,000 transportation orders annually.

“The warehouse in Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska V will play a strategic role and will significantly strengthen our leading position in contract logistics. We have a team of experienced employees and a modern fleet meeting international standards. We are a truly innovative business focusing on modern technological solutions that guarantee high service quality,” says Marcin Szostak, Logistics Director, Regesta S.A.

“Regesta, which has enjoyed a period of strong growth, has turned to Panattoni again for more space. For us, this is the best evidence that we are a proven partner for its growing business. Not only do we have parks in strategic locations, but our teams draw on their extensive experience to deliver facilities customized to the operational needs of individual clients. We have already partnered with Regesta in Silesia and Pomerania, but we are confident that the projects we have successfully completed together will pave the way for further cooperation - also in other regions,” says Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director, Panattoni.

“To accommodate its rapid growth and requirement for more warehouse space, Regesta S.A. decided to lease most of the facility in Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska V, whilst securing the right of first refusal. The key advantages of the new warehouse are its convenient location and the full adaptability of the space to our client’s needs. The facility in Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska V will provide Regesta S.A. with excellent conditions for business operations and further expansion,” says Janusz Dudek, Senior Advisor, Newmark Polska.

“The space which Regesta S.A. needed was not available on the market, so we decided to conduct a tender among developers to deliver a BTS warehouse in the first quarter of 2024. The building will be constructed to a higher fire resistance standard – above 4,000 MJ/sqm – and customized to the client’s needs and requirements, including a specialist garage. Upon completion of the facility, Regesta S.A. will relocate its operations, including its fleet base, from Tychy to Ruda Śląska. We are pleased that we were once again able to support our client in securing an optimal facility for its business and to meet its expectations,” says Jakub Kurek, Head of Industrial and Warehouse, Newmark Polska.

Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska V is a distribution centre which will comprise two buildings with a combined area of 65,000 sqm. It is to be built next to the A4 motorway and 15 km from the A1 motorway, ensuring superb conditions for national and international deliveries, with the park being only a 30-minute drive from the Czech border. The complex will meet a range of sustainability requirements for BREEAM certification with an Excellent rating. The solutions to be used in the park will guarantee its energy efficiency and ensure that water is saved. Carbon dioxide emissions will also be reduced through the optimization of the construction work itself and the use of the latest technologies. Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska V has also been designed to ensure employee wellbeing.
