The high demand generated by the retail, transport and logistics sectors saw P3 Logistic Parks lease around 113,500 sqm of logistics and office spaces in Romania during 2021.

Of the total transactions, over 80% - more than 91,000 sqm, are long-term leases, the rest being new contracts or short-term extensions. Much of the rental activity was generated by requests coming from existing tenants, who either prolonged their long-term contracts (32,400 sqm) or chose to expand the areas currently occupied (32,200 sqm).

“In this context, we are optimistic about the evolution of the local business in 2022. The long-term development prospects are also promising, especially when considering the approximately 100,000 sqm available for the future expansion of P3 Bucharest A1,” said Sînziana Pardhan, Managing Director P3 Romania.

In the past year, P3 Bucharest A1 has expanded its portfolio of tenants with four new companies which are jointly occupying around 23,000 sqm.

The developer said it is looking for new opportunities to develop future modern industrial projects.
