Romania's land market closed 2025 with transaction volumes similar to 2024 levels, totaling nearly €450 million. Political uncertainty and fiscal adjustments affected the first half of the year, but market sentiment improved after elections, with the final months delivering some of the strongest results in recent years, according to Colliers.

Romanian developer Intero Property Development has signed a sale contract with a retailer for 10,418 sqm of land at Bucharest-based SkyLight Residence. Local developer One United Properties has signed a preliminary agreement to acquire a plot of land located on the former FLARO industrial platform in Sibiu. 

Local developer Ansi has purchased a land plot in northern Bucharest from GTC, where it plans to kick off the construction of a new premium residential project.

7R has acquired a 140,000 sqm site in Stara Wieś, Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The plot will be used to develop more than 60,000 sqm of warehouse space, designed for logistics, warehousing, and built-to-own or built-to-suit projects.

BLD Poland, part of Bulgarian investment group AG Capital, has acquired a plot in Warsaw’s Białołęka district for a new residential project that will include nearly 90 housing units. The site is located near Głębocka Street, close to parks, schools, and the Targówek retail centre.

One United Properties has finalised the acquisition of a 21-hectare plot of land in Bucharest’s District 5 from CPI Romania for €21 million.
