With the recent acquisition of a business park located at Košice airport, CTP has become the market leader as the largest developer and owner of industrial and logistics real estate in Slovakia.

Prologis has started the construction of a new, state-of-the-art speculative facility totalling 14,000 square meters at Prologis Park Budapest-Harbor to provide further sustainable space. Scheduled for completion in Q2 2020, the new building will even have its own motorway access.

Prologis has started the development of Raben Group’s new centre of operations totalling 50,000 square meters at Prologis Park Ruda Śląska, in the heart of Silesia, Poland. Colliers International facilitated in securing this transaction.

In one of the largest industrial & logistic land transactions to date in 2019, Afin Holding acquired Aries Logistic Park in Turda, located near Cluj-Napoca for an undisclosed amount. The project, only partially developed, includes almost 60 hectares of land available for further development. Colliers International was the real estate agent on this transaction whilst Moroianu & Associatii acted as legal advisor to the buyer side.

Panattoni Europe embarks on a new project near the Tricity Airport – Panattoni Park Gdańsk Airport. The distribution centre with close to 107,000 sqm has already got a stamp of approval from BBK S.A. – 68,500 sqm of the facility will be used as a multifunctional warehouse for home&you, a leading brand of interior furnishing articles. Completion of construction works is planned for mid-2020.

Panattoni Europe has completed nearly 17,000 sqm of space for DHL Parcel Polska. It consists of two distribution centres dedicated to e-commerce operations, built in the Warsaw region – at Panattoni Park Pruszków III and in Radzymin. Both facilities have been developed in line with DHL’s GOGREEN policy and have undergone BREEAM environmental certification process, achieving a Good and Very Good rating.  

The vacancy rate on the Budapest industrial market reached 2% at the end of Q3 2019. Total demand amounted to 154,825 sqm, indicating a 42% increase from the figure noted in the same period last year. The Budapest Research Forum published its quarterly industrial market analysis.

P3 Logistic Parks is expanding its activities with its first project in eastern Slovakia. It is starting construction of a modern logistics and industrial park near the village of Nová Polhora. This is an attractive location for developers and business, offering easy access via the D1 motorway to the metropolises of eastern Slovakia – Košice and Prešov – and logistics connections to neighbouring countries.

Cushman & Wakefield has advised on the acquisition of a 17-hectare plus land in Biskupice Podgórne near Wrocław. The new owner of the land is Segro, a developer and owner of warehouse parks in nine countries across Europe.

Oxenwood Real Estate, the UK and European real estate investment management firm, has acquired a newly developed logistics facility near Warsaw from a joint venture between Panattoni Europe and Bluehouse Capital for €13.5 million.
