Commercial real estate developer 7R has officially commenced construction on 7R Hub Nowa Huta, a significant logistics and technology centre located in Kraków. The project is designed to deliver approximately 230,000 sqm of specialised technical and production space to the Polish market.
Aleksander Miszalski, Mayor of Kraków, said: "7R Hub Nowa Huta significantly strengthens the economic potential of Kraków's eastern districts. This development demonstrates that urban growth can effectively combine modern investments with the revitalisation of post-industrial land." Wojciech Warian, CEO of Kraków Nowa Huta Przyszłości, added: "Today's event marks a milestone in restoring post-industrial areas of Nowa Huta to residents and businesses."
7R Hub Nowa Huta is being developed within the Ruszcza Logistics and Industrial Centre, as part of the Kraków - Nowa Huta of the Future project. The park offers connectivity and convenient access to Kraków city centre. Its location, combined with access to a skilled workforce, makes it attractive for technology companies, manufacturers, and logistics operators.
Andrzej Wroński, CEO of 7R, commented: "7R Hub Nowa Huta is the largest project in our portfolio. We have already secured lease agreements with companies for tens of thousands of square metres. Our project will significantly strengthen Kraków's position on Poland's industrial map. To date, total warehouse stock across the Małopolska region has stood at about 1.2 million sqm." The development will incorporate solutions aligned with 7R's low-emission standard, including an intelligent building management system, photovoltaic installations, and air-source heat pumps.
