Panattoni is completing a logistics centre for non-food discount chain Action in Bieruń with an area of ​​60,800 sqm, of which more than 58,000 sqm will be warehousing space. The BTS facility, which should be ready in September this year, will improve the company’s logistics processes for southern and central Poland, as well as across Europe. The investment is to be BREEAM certified at the ‘Excellent ‘level.

The first column has been placed of the first 45,000 sqm warehouse in Fót, which is an important milestone in launching one of Hungary’s largest industrial and logistic developments by HelloParks, a member of Futureal Group, after the first tenants started to move into another megapark of the company in Maglód. For this energy-efficient, BREEAM sustainability standard-compliant facility that is developed as a part of a greenfield investment close to the Hungarian capital, the composition of the tenants is already outlined: negotiations are at an advanced stage, mainly with e-commerce, parcel logistics and courier businesses, as well as logistics companies serving a single manufacturing company.

FLE SICAV FIS, managed by FLE GmbH, has acquired the Rockwell Automation warehouse and industrial facility in Katowice. Knight Frank advised the buyer. The value of the deal is confidential.

pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has provided an investment loan facility and a VAT facility totalling €90 million to GreenOak Europe Core Plus Logistics, a fund managed by BentallGreenOak (BGO). The fund will utilise the proceeds for the acquisition financing of a logistics portfolio in Poland. pbb acted as arranger and sole lender under the facilities.

Panattoni has become the first developer in the sector to introduce BREEAM certification at the ‘Excellent’ level as the standard for all its new facilities. To date, Panattoni has built 5,7 million sqm of space that has qualified for green certificates and tops the rankings for sustainable industrial construction. This includes the first BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certificate in the Polish industrial sector – for Panattoni Park Sosnowiec I – to add to having developed the most sustainable industrial building in Europe: Panattoni Park Cheb in the Czech Republic, which has an ‘Outstanding’ rating.

Panattoni will construct a robotic fulfilment centre for Amazon on a brownfield site, formerly used for a sugar factory settling tanks, near Kojetín in the Přerov region. It will be the first fully-fledged multi-storey logistics building with state-of-the-art technological equipment in the Czech Republic. The zone was developed by the Accolade Group, which is also the investor and owner of the industrial park.

Property developer Zacaria says it will start residential investments in three Romanian cities after it partially sold its local industrial portfolio to CTP.

Martes Sport, a chain of large-format sports stores which was founded in Bielsko-Biała, is expanding its warehouse facilities with a lease agreement for space in Czechowice-Dziedzice, Poland. Due to development of its operations, especially in e-commerce, the company will occupy more than 21,000 sqm of warehouse space, as well as an office of approximately 1,000 sqm in 7R BTS Beskid III. The company’s new location will be operational in the second half of 2022.

CTP says it has taken over around 112,000 sqm of industrial space from Zacaria Industrial, representing parks in four cities, for an undisclosed sum. Following the acquisition, CTP has started operations in Craiova and expanded its presence in Sibiu, Arad and Oradea and its local portfolio has edged close to 2 million sqm.

MLP Group, a developer operating on the warehouse property market in Poland, Germany, Austria and Romania, has added a further 10 ha to the land bank of its MLP Poznań West project. The target project area has thus increased to about 150,000 sqm, making it one of the region’s largest logistic sites.
