The ČS nemovitostní fond, managed by REICO, is acquiring Panattoni Park Tychy DC1 in Poland. The value of the acquisition is approximately CZK 1.1 billion (€42 million). This brings the number of properties owned by the fund to 19.

Ivan Lokere, CEO of Belgium-based real estate developer Alinso Group talked to Property Forum about the trends driving real estate markets in today’s economy and restated the company’s commitment to the Romanian market.

Accolade Group, in cooperation with its JV partner, invested almost €26 million in a Class A warehouse facility in Wielenin-Kolonia in Central Poland. The entire facility is occupied by K-Flex, a worldwide leader in the production of elastomeric insulation, with a lease term of 17 years.

Panattoni has turned its focus back onto the Warsaw market. In a strategic location – close to the planned New Central Polish Airport – Panattoni Park Błonie III is now under construction. The investment with an area of more than 90,000 sqm has already started and has its first tenant: logistics operator GTFL, which specialises in full truckload and international transportation. The company will consolidate the space it currently occupies in the country at the end of this year, when it will move into its newly leased 7,700 sqm premises. It was represented by consultancy Cresa Polska for this transaction.

VGP has announced the appointment of Gergely Somogyi as Commercial Director for VGP Hungary. With Gergely's arrival, Laszlo Balogh will be able to focus more on land acquisition and development of new plots to support the strong demand and future development on the Hungarian market.

Prime headline rents have increased slightly to a new level of €5 sqm/month in the Czech Republic and €5.20 sqm/month in the Greater Prague region during the second quarter of 2021. The Industrial Research Forum announced the latest industrial market figures.

The European warehouse property developer MLP Group is to build a BTS facility for Hart Logistics, a Polish provider of logistics and transport services. The lease has been brokered by Profi-Home of Poznań.

White Star Logistics, a new joint venture between Bain Capital Credit and White Star Real Estate, is launching two logistics centres in Poland, in the Warsaw suburbs of Nowy Konik and Raszyn. These areas are in high demand for warehousing, light industrial uses and from the ever-growing e-commerce market. The total area of both projects will be approximately 120,000 sqm.

Rohlik Group, the provider of online grocery delivery services, has leased a warehouse covering 12,000 sqm in CTPark Bucharest North as part of its expansion strategy in Romania. 

Wing is launching the second phase of the East Gate Business Park project at the junction of motorways M0 and M3. The development of East Gate PRO will start with the construction of two new halls with an area of over 20,000 sqm, in response to market needs and increased demand. The first halls of East Gate PRO will be completed in Q2 2022.
