South African developer Fortress REIT is close to entering the Romanian logistics market by acquiring the logistic park in Chitila, owned by Element Industrial and Dedeman, according to Ziarul Financiar, which cites market sources.

Element Industrial announced four new tenants for the recently delivered second phase of Eli Park 1. Euro Games Technology Romania, a company active in the production and distribution of a wide range of products in the gaming industry, Mobilier 1, online home & deco retailer, Decor Floor, a leader in commercial and residential floors and Dentotal, the market leader in the distribution of dentistry products rented over 10,000 sqm in Eli Park 1, the logistics park developed by Element Industrial in the Buftea Chitila area.

Element Industrial announced the launch of Eli Xpress, a new line of business based on the concept of proximity storage. Eli Xpress warehouses will offer areas between 6,000 and 12,000 square meters and will be located close to large cities, or even inside cities.

Element Industrial has completed the first phase of the Eli Park 1 logistics park in Chitila, northwest of Bucharest. The 20,000 sqm warehouse is leased to appliance producer Arctic, part of Turkish group Arcelik.

Colliers International Romania has been assigned to offer property management services for the first phase of the industrial park ELI Park 1, with a total area of 20,000 sqm. Element Industrial announced the development of a 60,000 sqm logistics park in the Romanian city of Craiova. The company will build the €35 million industrial project on an 11-hectare plot of land, near the south ring road of the city, with direct access to the E70 road. The developer plans to deliver ELI PARK Craiova in three phases.

Industrial and logistics developer Element Industrial has received the building permit for ELI PARK 1 and has started the construction works. The park will offer 45,000 sqm of warehouse and office space following an investment of €25 million.
