With the last works completed in July, Budapest’s newest office building “Buda Loft Offices” is ready to welcome its new tenants. The building - which used to be the Goldberger textile factory - now offers modern loft offices. Colliers International has been appointed as the exclusive letting agent on the building

Prologis has announced that it will deliver a 11,740 square metre build-to-suit (BTS) facility for Geis PL, a German logistics operator, at Prologis Park Stryków. The project is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Days of strong development activity on the Budapest office market are once again ahead of us. BTS developments and large pre-lease deals have dominated property news cycles for over a year now and the time has finally come for developers with speculative projects to make their move. Romanian real estate developer Primavera Development will build a shopping centre in the centre of Sibiu, on the plot of the former Simerom plant. Festival Shopping Center is set to have a 44,000 sqm rentable area and is expected to be opened in H2 2018. The investment in the mall will amount to 70 million euros.

International real estate advisor Savills, on behalf of Aviva Investors has sold a Small Business Unit type warehouse and a 3.5 ha development land situated in Łódź Business Park. The buyer was industrial developer Panattoni Europe. 

Prologis has announced its second quarter activity in Central and Eastern Europe. The company leased more than 400,000 square metres of distribution space, an increase of more than 7 percent over the same period last year. Demand continues to be driven by reconfiguration of the supply chain and e-commerce.

Panattoni Europe completed the manufacturing site built for Kongsberg Automotive of Norway. The project, sized 6300 sqm, was executed in Koluszki, Central Poland. Formal acceptance of the project by tenant took place on 15 July 2016

P3 has reached the important milestone of 300,000 sqm of built space at its P3 Bucharest park, the largest logistics park in Romania. Since its purchase of the park at the beginning of 2015, P3 has added a total of 85,000 sqm of new space for existing and new clients.

Award-winning UK architecture practice Make Architects has been appointed to design a state-of-the-art office building in Bratislava’s Central Business District. HB Reavis has been chosen as the development manager of the new mixed-use scheme which will be developed on the site of the current Apollo Business Centre I.

Echo Investment has obtained a building permit for the construction of Galeria Libero, which is to be built on Kościuszki Street in the southern part of Katowice. The investor also concluded a contract with the city authorities concerning the road layout around the facility.
